errrr...Yao had 19 points and 6 rebounds in only 23 minutes. no need to whine that much. He will never be a great rebounder. And he's a big man, it is harder to defend guards.
I agree man....Yao is doing great. So what if AI, Francis, and Hill can score on Yao. AI, Francis, and Hill can score on anyone if they tried, they're supposed to be All-Star caliber players. I think you're being too harsh on the Yao man. Yes, he doesn't rebound like a man his size should be, but I think he does other things exceptionally well. Geez, it's only a stupid pre-season game, chill out.
Looks like Alston is a real deal -through 2 (I know it's preseason ) games: Ast TO Stl 7 1 2 vs 76ers, 26 mins 7 3 4 vs Magic, 31 mins 4.2 1.5 1 Career avg Playing on a much better team with T-Mac and Yao will only improve his numbers. Hopefully he can average 7+ ast a game. When was the last time we have a true pass-first point guard?

I think in the season we should always have this substitution flow. First Yao, Tracy, and Alston starting together, than Alston and Yao step out and bring in Deke, JB. In that case we can have Mcgrady as a scorer in the lineup, and when T-mac steps out we can bring in Alston/Yao back and have an offensive player to turn to.

lol. but seriously, totally agree with what you said. as fans we always have high expectation for our stars. so when they don't improve their weakness we are more frustrated than others. however, don't you think those weakness already being addressed by his coaches or even himself? i mean something can be taught and learnt while other things can't. even those can be taught and learnt some takes longer time than others. so we have to be patient and realistic. accepting who he is as well as what he can do.
