I think Doc Rocket's account has been hijacked by someone. Since when did he start posting something that is not an "inside info"? ;)

Im sure doc has his reasons.
Have to think, who is reading these encouraging words..

or maybe he is just getting excited.

Edit: seems from post immediately above that excitement is the issue

10-28 from the floor...Apparently he was building it brick by brick.

Gotta hand it to Stevie though. He just refuses to let the Magic relinquish the number 6 spot in the East. ;)
After all, whichever team finishes 6th in the East WILL have home court in the 1st round.

Actually, we beat Seattle last year (Mark Jackson has 26, I think) and Memphis the year before that (Moochie Norris had 12... Hey, anyone notice that we haven't had a decent backup point the last 2 years?), with Steve sitting out ;)

I went to the game, and I got there waaaaaaaaaaay early.

I sat in 114, and I think I was the only one in my section for a long while. Barry was the only one out for the Rockets before warmups.

    I guess it showed tonight.

Gee, I remembered why Francis is the most frustrating player in the league to watch. One minute he is making a fantastic play, the next minute he has a brain freeze and makes a spectacular turnover, then, the cycle repeats itself, over and over......Great moves, dumb moves, circus shot, horrible decision. I got frustrated watching him on the OTHER team!

What a "team-building" win for the Rockets. They almost ran out of gas, but the first half was priceless. When Ming is singleteamed he goes off. You forget how good he can be. And Barry, Sura, Wesley, Mutombo, et al., this one is for you!

I hope everything is O.K. with TMac. Any updates?

Many of the guys just stay in the practice gym and shoot in there. I've watched them through the windows before.

Listening to Matt Jackson's postgame call-in show on 610 AM.

My goodness, are the callers always this bad? These people are Chris Farley-esque, except they're not acting.

Is there something on 790AM sucking away all the semi-intelligent callers?

Extremely proud of the Rox, they beat a pretty decent team without T-Mac. Winning without your best player shows some character. Everyone contributed except Strickland, I don't understand why they signed the guy because he hasn't shown anything and jacking up those shots could have cost us the game. He's rusty seems less athletic and slower than a few years ago, I can't believe there was nobody better available.

He never actually compared their overall skill levels but rather the fact that Steve Nash behaves as a point guard in finding his players while Sura jacks up bricks and doesnt pass to Yao. But then again you were making sarcastic remarks about how Yao, the center, doesn't pass enough and get enough assists. Go figure. Maybe you have your positions confused??

Good win! I guess I wish they would have tried to force it to Yao a little more the second half since he was on a roll but, other than that, I can't complain too much. We scored in the mid 80's without our 25 ppg. scorer and won. Yao looks to have shaken off what rust or problems he had with his shot and has gained some confidence it seems, which is a great sign for the rest of the season. We better get this one on Wednesday against NO, cause the schedule gets REAL dicey after that.
