It's official: Francis and the Magic are OWNED!

It's pretty sad when Jon Barry makes you his b****.

I hope jvg doesn't push Yao too hard to become Shaq. If he were Shaq some of his teammates would be deadmeat :)

Are you guys(except the YOHs) sick of this crap that Yao can only takes about 12 shots in every game. What pisses me off even more a few of the posters here refused to acknowledge there is even a problem with that.

Let me spell out to some of you again. When Yao got going pretty good, he's still the biggest mismatch out there on the court, if you don't look for him , you got no business playing ball period!

steve endears himself forever with the big mac sealing turnover. which brings up the question, how stupid is johnny davis? he calls worthless timeouts after the game is decided, both times setting up some Godawful play with someone coming off a pick that doesn't even work while the rockets would probably be happy to avoid the foul and let steve waltz in for a layup. jd, gotta live him. his play drawing up genius must really inspire the troops in close games.

if jd were coaching us i would be begging for us to bring back jvg.

Good job of finding a negative out of a win. Are you related to JVG?

Man, games like this one more guy outside Yao and Tmac rise up, we usually get a win.

Too bad Yao's shooting touch seems to have returned past few games, and for some reasons the other teams had decided not to double-team Yao as much too.:p

    What a great game!!!

First win for Yao without Francis or T-Mac. A big win for team confidence.

Barry is the difference maker of the game.

    Go Rockets!

I Feel Really Bad for Steve

If you look at his minutes, I honestly think that Johnny Davis and the Magic are going to run Steve into the ground. Francis has a good heart. But he has no brain.

3 assists shy from a tripple double. This guy is determined to get one this season no matter what.

Yao needs to keep on demanding the ball when he gets hot or otherwise he won't be able to make the next step towards dominance.
I'm glad we did it without T-Mac. Everyone deserves credit for it.
I hope he will be back soon.

Juwan Howard is killing me. The guy is just determined to throw shots up. The only shot he makes is at the top of the key and he should stick to that. I'm tired of watching him try to iso himself and use all the shot clock.

Man, the 2nd half is pathetic. Without those free throws in the end, we scored less than 30 pts. should have been a blown out.

Steve run Orlando into last year's Rockets, look at the stats, 13 asists and 17 TO.

Houston is 22 asists and 10TOs, that kinda makes the difference I guess.

You know what? I really enjoy watching this team. I like the chemistry. Just seeing Barry and Sura and Wesley hugging and laughing and joking around. Seeing them passing the ball and hustling all the time. I mean, without being too harsh, I see why we traded those guys.

Steve - turnover machine, still makes TERRIBLE decisions and simply has NO idea how to run a team...oh yeah, he is THE WORST defensive PG in basketball...period! He's athletic but he is what he is - a good player. Whether it be comments like 'I built this arena. By myself - these rims are like the ocean. I'm looking forward to having a big night!" or that Steve really does think that he's THAT great! Stevie, Stevie...God Bless him....10 for 28 and 7 TO's...that's my boy!

Cato - horrible. Yao could've...oh forget it. He's terrible.

Mo Taylor - oh crap - we still have him. Well, he's terrible too. :)

Anyway, this team is just more to watch without those guys. Thi is team basketball. Now, when to start to add some pieces, I think we'll be fine. I think next year, we bring over that young PG and give Badiane a look in camp. I mean seriously, can he be worse than Clarence Weatherspoon or Mo T for that matter?

This is the first stage of rebuilding. You have two cogs as your foundation. We need to get bigger, stronger, faster (Bionic Man music plays!!), we need to DUMP IT DOWN, and we need to keep working. I wish that we didn't run a play everytime down though. It would be nice to just DUMP IT DOWN with nothing but a shooter on that side. Oh well, just a thought.

    Overall, progress..good, solid progress!!
