Who the hell was that random dude the lakers put in and actually had productive minutes? I didn't even know that guy was on the roster.

You look at what the Lakers have done since the first game like changing their defense to counter the Rockets and tweaking their rotation. MDA won’t expand the rotation even with House missing two games and he just keeps doing the same thing over and over again with no adjustments leading to one loss after another. You would think after 3 losses in a row something would change but I won’t hold my breath.

This lineup has left him with very little room for adjustment.

lebron would just post up and let them double him in the post. he's generating a good look every possession. if the rockets weren't so one dimensional they would allow harden to play in the post and see what looks he can generate. the fact that he only plays in the perimeter makes it so easy to double him and take him out of possessions.

Imagine blaming anyone other than House (if what's being reported is true)

That's pure insanity. There's no conspiracy in this instance.

Just another grade A example of the Houston Rockets and their ridiculously low IQ players

I wouldnt be mad if they played hard, LeBron played great. But im mot waking up middle of the night to watch Danny Green stack offensive rebounds. We actually played for last 6 min and almost catch them and it started with Westbrook taking team by the balls and Austin following. I knew James Harden is not a leader and after this game it is his legacy as a Rocket. He didnt ****ing move on offense again

Here’s the biggest glaring stat: Rockets shot 14/33 three’s
    Lakers 9/30 threes.

We didn’t shoot enough threes. We should be jacking up at least 40-50 a game. Stupids... they can’t even execute that correctly... it’s the fundamental basis of our offense.

Bruh, Lakers v Clippers were predestined. Ain’t nobody watching Rockets V Clippers!?! China hates Rockets now duh. That was the price for Morey opening his big mouth. Rockets were just good rivals for the Warriors. That era is over. We were never meant to win a ring. No matter how well constructed or optimized- see Morey’s/Rockets league-officiating analysis.

You think we lost because of officiating?

Ow the irony, a game where our bench produces and we get the FT advantage by a mile is where Harden fades, we don’t shoot enough threes since getting into any offense is too hard with an incompetent coach and roster and to top it off our best 3pt shooter in RoCo gets 2 attempts.

Rockets didn’t want to win. Maybe it’s the House situation, but something is up as that start of the game was very indicative of players who were not ready and quit. Saw it in game 3 too so maybe it’s more than just tired legs. Sloppy passes, not getting back, boxing out, Harden not active etc.

Can anyone seriously come up with excuses for Harden this time? Does he have enough of MDA? Incompetent roster? Tired? House situation? Refs? Bubble?

He has had 3 pretty great games out of the 4. Even last night, he still had 21 points, 10 assists, 2 steal and 3 blocks.... and that's considered a bad game for him. Oh, and he was getting double-teamed for most of the game.

Did anyone really expect us to beat the lakers? They're bigger than us.... they're currently playing better than us. They just got Rondo back, so they actually have a decent pg now. And their 2 main guys are stepping up. Their bench players are also stepping up.

I have no clue why we haven't tried to force them out of the paint. If we force them to shoot 60 open 3pt shots, we should do it. They're not a good 3pt shooting team, so it's a risk worth taking. We actually did a great job at in games 1 and 2 (at times).... even in the 4th quarter from last night, we actually did a good job at that.

You can tell most of our players are not focused, or most of them don't give a ****. They're lacking focus when they're cutting to paint, which is leading to easy buckets in the paint.

I haven't really been that bothered if we lost to the Lakers, because I never considered us favorites. Even after game 1 I never got carried away. They've been the better team overall throughout in the season, whilst we've been an inconsistent team. Their form has picked up a lot during the playoffs..... and that's mostly because Rondo is back. Small ball just doesn't work on a team like the Lakers.... unless you're 100% focused on the paint defense. If you guard the switches and cuts to the paint, you're more than likely beating them.... as they're not a good 3pt shooting. We've lost the game because our defense has gone to **** in the last 3 games.

Time to move on and get a new coach. Get rid of this small ball and actually get a good defensive center in.
