Very good chance the Rockets take this one.

Everybody needs to play big but keys are great defense, Brooks needs to have a good game, and few turnovers. Cut the Lakers fast break points as in game 1.

Not super familiar with those refs. I'll be at the game tonight. Look for me, I'll be the one wearing red.

I think no matter who the refs are they are going to call it tight and try to keep this from turning into game 2. Yao needs to keep his feet moving and his hands up because they are going to try to get him into foul trouble early. Look for a few moving picks call and a lot of calls for loose ball contact under the basket. The Rox really need to keep a cool head while still playing hard nosed ball.

We know who they are, and we know what were capable of, lets get it done Rockets.

That's a good thing about the refs....if you don't know them, then they must be good.

I know Javie in an "I've heard of him" sort of way. Eh, not as bad as Joey or Violet, but not great either.

As a non sequitor, I hope ESPN has the player introductions tonight instead of the talking heads. I want to hear Kobe's welcome to Houston.

    Hello Rocket Lovers,

Laker fan here but I come in peace. I have nothing against the Rockets im actually a huge fan of many of your players. Yao, Battier and especially Ron. I remember we almost got Ron before he went to the Kings im still pretty upset it never happened.

1- Has been a great series so far. I love the Intensity and fierceness of it. However after reading some of the threads on this page I think its pretty absurd that you guys blame our wins on the Refs? Mind you i understand laker forums a lot of time go pretty crazy after tough losses and blames the refs as well but there is no way either game was won by the refs. The refs did not let kobe go for 40. or allow us to shoot about 80% in the 1st. or allow gasol to shoot 9-13. You outplayed us in Game 1 and we outplayed you in Game 2 plain and simple.

I saw plenty of tough calls that could have gone either way. some notable ones i think was Game 1 Odoms late steal i dont believe he ever touched the line to go out of bounds. If you step over it you are not out of bounds. Also Kobe's elbow was tough but with artest Anctis after of course he was going to be thrown out. I know im not the only one that caught Artest doing the "im a kill you" sign with his hand across his throat the 1st time and then tried to cover it up by saying he hit me in the throat LOL. one of many reasons i love Artest I must say.

So Good Luck guys im really looking forward to tonights game as I know you are

I am very nervous right now and can not work.
If we lose, I may cry for Rox.

    Anybody same feeling?

Go Rockets take care of business and lets finish this *****. We must remain cool and just play basketball. We just need to hold our home court. Who ever is attending the game please be your loudest for the 6th man home court advantage. It is starting to get physical out there. We are already a more physical team and the Fakers are trying to match that.
Take care of the ball, AB please feed Yao as soon as he is open. Hopefully RA keep on switching Shane & Ron on Kobe like when we played LeBron. We need to attack Gasol and get him in foul trouble. RA if Landry and Wafer are hot you have to give them more minutes, they are the ones who erased the Fakers lead in that second qtr of game 2.
Someone needs to be a smart enforcer for the rest of the series. No lay-up and dunk rule should be in effect. On defense anyone who is not nammed Shane or Ron must channel their inner Mutombo in them. Man the ***** up everyone and lets lock it down. The goal for the weekend is to be up 3-1 by Sunday night.
This series is the closest chance to get to the ship. If we can collectively stop Kobe and Gasol the other Fakers will not be able to fill it up. We can definitly handle Denver, but first we must put these Fakers down.
Since Dorsey isn't doing anything, RA should insert him to put Kobe on his ass.
Rockets handle your business and let take these dirty Fakers to the cleaners.
Yao you must get open even if they are fronting you.

Who else has NO IDEA what to expect tonight?!?!

A tame game?! A blowout of the Lakers?! A tight game going into the 4th?! Artest throwing up bricks, or Artest knocking people down like bowling pins?!

Yao going for 8pts or 28pts?

    A fight?

    Wafer exploding?

Haven't been this excited all year.

    Go Rockets, do it big.

+1. I hope we come out strong and focused and manage to channel all the energy positively. I don't think the Lakers are just going to go away. They might be dirty, but they've got oodles of talent and we'll have to put them away. Hopefully Yao and crew will have a great game and get the win.
