    ....Oh and Jeff. The reason Battier is not on Kobe is so that he does not pick up 3rd foul before the half.

    Battier is on Kobe because he has two fouls.
    Man, Artest cannot hold Kobe worth crap...He just blows by him every single play compared to Battier forcing Kobe to shoot jumpers :eek: .
    WIN or go home; Rockets need to keep this level up and not let Artest shoot them out of the game

    Artest posting up and driving and forcing inside against a bunch of defenders is stupid!! He got to be smarter than that. Also he needs to stop dribbling and shooting. And Brooks need to just shoot..it's always open

    including Kobe's swung elbow to a man's throat.. that should've been a flagrant 2.. and ejection.. how can you have someone rationalize that as a "good legit box out move".. and give much a damn about his outrage..

    When Artest was wrongfully ejected in the other game, ESPN did not cry foul. So let's move on already. What's the big deal, ESPN??

    Just tons of heart and torrid shooting. I would really like to see more of Von than Ron, but anyway, this group of players is so gritty. The only thing, on Sunday the Lakers easily took twenty off of a thirty point lead. The good guys better come out with intensity and keep it going.

    what JVG failed to realize, or maybe this was his point, is that the refs are being over cautious bcause Stern is in the arena. the same thing happened the last time Stern was at the game, which was game 2 i believe...the refs start calling it tight because if something happens and it escalates and a fight breaks out with Stern watching, then i'm guessing they don't get a gold star for the game...

    JVG coached the NY Knicks in the 90s. For that team, throwing elbows in the paint was legit.
