I also think resting Steve for nearly 6 minutes at the beginning of the 4th quarter also allowed him to OWN the last minute!!!

If the rockets can hit their 3 point shots they can compete with anyone in the league. They were able to open things up and you actually got to see the way JVG intended to run the offense. Great game by everyone, player of the game goes to none other than Steve Francis.

The best part about tonight was that we won as a team. Everyone did their part, and our stars stwpped up when it counted.

Look out LA, CLUTCH CITY is BACK!

JVG didn't allow an interview, IMO, because it would have cost him a lot of money. That forearm shiver to the kidneys of Yao Ming by Karl Malone was almost criminal -- and no call. I hope the league does a review and suspends Malone for a game.

How many minutes Boki played in this game? A great move by JVG! He has some trust on the guy now.

Karla was gloating after he did it, like always. He gets away with murder.

well i am definitely pleased with tonight's game, but I am still puzzled why Van Gundy wouldn't let the players talk after the game. i have no problem with it, i just wonder why he did it.

I'm glad he did. Keep the focus on Sunday, mess a little with Jackson.

Probably didnt want any "bulletin board" material to surface. Probably didnt want the Rockets to act or feel too confident. Stay humble, stay hungry. ;)

I just found it funny as hell to watch Jim Gray getting stuffed on the interview! ha ha ha!

Like I said before, NBA = basketball + box. That's why Malone and Oneal become super star.

Yao may not have had the edge vs Shaq tonight, and maybe he passed the ball back out to the perimeter too much when he was matched up 1 one 1 vs Shaq.

But his hook to make the score 92-86 was the biggest shot of the game.
