I am tired of hearing that too.

Just because Phil Jackson said this "broken in half" crap and tons of maroons jump into the bandwagon. When was the last time Shaq hurt a 250 lb opponents, let alone a taller guy of 310 lb? Are they saying a Chinese 310 lb is weaker than a 50 lb lighter black/white man? If so, it's pretty freaking racist.

They should rather tell SF to be more careful 'cause he's the one who was almost decapitated twice by Shaq.

    Rox wins by 10.

A key point. All of our guys thrive against man to man defenses. Yao, SF, Cat, and Mo Taylor will all have good games and we will win once again over the Fakers.

Is this a Rockets forum or a Lakers forum?....do you people have any faith?

This is the same Laker team the Rockets have thoroughly outplayed not once, but twice this year.

So what if they are mad, the Rockets match up well with LA.

You know what I'm afraid of in this game....that the Lakers actually try to use a zone. :( I still don't know why the Rox can't seem to beat it, sure, they're not the best jump shooting team in the league, but goddamnit, they're professionals.

Yao has his special way to deal with o'neal.Don't worry about it.But Kobe is horrible.Maybe rox will lose this time.don't give yao too much pressure. He will adjust to play a good game.

If there is only one game in the whole season that Shaq is truly motivated, this one will be it. We are into a tough fight. Go Rockets!

Memphis just won Spurs by a narrow margin 81:80 yesterday.

We are in dire need a W to keep pace with Grizzlies.

    Go Rockets!

    Conditions for rox to win,
1 Ming continues to be a presense and mustnot be fouled out, Ming should keep calm and Cato need to help.
2 Steve, along with Mobley play as well as before when they faced Lakers.

can rox defeat Lakers again? I am not sure

like the result (win) ... however if yao fouled out i doubt the rocks would win like this. they either win by a bigger margin or loss.

If the rockets beat the Lakers this time, I guess it will compensate their losing to Seattle bigtime.

If we win this one..what is the chance that we can play Fakers at first round of playoff?

It's going to be a good ball game. But it would not attract me so much as Yao vs Shaq I, II, III did. It's just another game Rox has to win to position well in playoff spot competition.

My prediction: either win big or loss big. More likely to lose big according to Rox's last poor performance against sonic ...

    Screw the Lakers

    Rox 250
LA 2 (only because Yao swats a shot from Shaq off the scoreboard and it drops in)

This is the 2nd game of the back-to-back road games for the Lakers, so a well rested Rockets team should prevail :D
