Kenny and Barkley both said we weren't gonna make the playoffs a week ago., they said the Rox were going to choke

 

let's all go out and get Shane a 6 pack of beer for a job well done

I think alot of us have been saying this for years.....since Yao and Tmac... have been going down...with injuries....

we need to have the role players play a greater role... and Tmac and Yao play less minutes...

the argument on the other side is ... how is Tmac and Yao suppose to play 40 minutes if they dont in everygame in the regular season...

I for one would rather have Tmac and Yao play 30 minutes of high production... then 0 minutes... were gonna get from Yao.... this season...


im dreading somthing happening to Tmac... now that he has to shoulder so many minutes now.,..

 

no offense, but hayes will get abused by boozer.I would rather laundry on him.Other then that u make a valid point.

 

Hayes matches up against boozer better because hes stronger.

 

Considering how many shots Battier made Kobe miss, Shane might as well have had a 35-point game of his own. Does Rudy Gay play lock-down defense like that? No, he certainly doesn't.

have u seen hayes guard boozer the last 2 yrs? he cannot shoot over hayes b/c hayes is quick enough to stay close to him. he can't post him up b/c hayes is just as strong as him. boozer has had some of his worst games against hayes.

hell, the game we lost this yr w/o yao to utah (during this streak), boozer had a VERY POOR game.

 

Hayes will get abused by boozer.He is not stronger at all.Boozer will use his size and post him up like in the playoffs last year.The only reason we lost to them last year was yao not being 100%.

 

He sure abused him in the playoffs

Yao cant match boozer because boozer can shoot over him and when Yao tries to contest the shot boozer blow bys him. Stop using injury as an excuse since Yao had a great first game.

by the way big props also goes to Mike Wilbon from espn PTI, he's about the ONLY one that PICKED us to win this game, at the pre-game when he said that Jon Barry looked at him like he had lost his mind... I hate JonB, I dunno why he hates the Rockets so much, probably because he regret his brother didn't sign with us? look what his brother COULD OF been a part of ....

 

say what?Yao was injured.He was clearly not 100%.They had to rush him back too.If yao and tmac has a injury free season thats when we will make it to the finals.They can get injured, but not season ending.

 

it doesn't matter if yao is 100%. yao may be better offensively, but he cannot guard boozer b/c yao doesn't want to leave the paint. with no hands in his face, boozer can simply rain jumpers on yao.

 

hmm we lost by like 4 in gm 7.If we had a healthy yao that could of changed things.yeah ur right too yao on boozer wasn't the smartest idea by JVG.

 

I predicted rox would win 100:95. I was wrong.
Hum, It seems that I underestimated rockets score capabilities and overestimated lakers score.

What an amazing game.

Though I must say the next 5 games are really really hard. But I believe with this rockets we can bring another 5 more wins one by one.

No offense but was there an earth quake happened during the game?

 

Man what a game. I have never seen a crowd so loud. I was never at a championship game but not even the playoff games I attended seemed this loud. I was sitting not far from the Rockets bench and it was just amazing to witness there excitement as well as the whole stadium. Lot of Lakers fans sprinkled in.

At one point Clutch came over to our section and put up a sign that said, "Lakers Fans Stand up". And of course a lot of the Lakers Fans stood up all proud. Then he quickly switched the sign that said, "Now Get Out!" Funny Clutch.

During 1 break on the Jumbotron they are showing some of the highlights of the winning streak, like Mutombo's finger wave and the rookies future and Tmac etc... all this with the NBA "Where Amazing Happens" music in the background and ended up showing the stadium filled with fans with words, "WHERE 21-0 Happens!". That was awesome but what was even more cool was watching the Lakers as that video was playing and you could see Kobe just staring at the screen and when it ends he just turns away and shakes his head. The fans just went beserk after that video, I mean crazy loud!!!

From about 5 minutes on no one in the stadium sat down. Well accept for me... somehow in the midst of all this noise my 3 year old daughter fell asleep in my arms. So I had to watch the screen part of the game cause I couldn't see over the big red haired guy in front of me.. Finally I couldn't bear missing anymore so I had to stand up and see the finish. Oh and what a finish.

 

Ho hoo,where AMAZING happens,I love Rockets!

 

All i know of tmac says he wants to practice tmmorrow Rick should say hell no.
