Something tells me that Landry is going to suit up tomarrow. The Chronicle says he's been working out and is improving. Im sure he's aware of the gravity of this game, nationally televised, all the hype surrounding it, the crap Houston would give for losing to Kobe, a chance to become #1 in the west.

I tore my ACL playing in a basketball tournament and needed surgery and more than 6 months to recover. He only has some knee pain, I know I'd gut it out for a game of this magnitude.

"That black dude" is Jamal Mashburn, and he's been hating on us throughout the entire streak. He's so clueless. He said Kobe is really gonna take it to TMac, yet Shane is the one that will be guarding Kobe. I seriously don't think these guys watch the games.

It's interesting how coaches who work as analysts (JVG, Rick Carlisle, Doug Collins, John Thompson, Mike Fratello, etc.) are very complimentary about what we're doing, while most of the former players are talking down to us (Kenny and Charles, Jon Barry, Mashburn). I think coaches appreciate the level of preparation and discipline that it takes to win this many games in a row more than players.

only one i can think of is the game against san antonio where robinson tipped it in after the buzzer.. that game cost us home court against seattle. so yea i'd say that one was a bigger game. but this one is definitely the most hyped!

The player analyst vs. the coach analyst. Very good observation.

That's because most of these ex-players thought that coaches were there for ornaments. It was their talent that won the games - coaches just collected paychecks for nothing.

Let's get serious with both Kenny and Charles. Kenny rode on the coat tails of Hakeem Olajowan and Sam I am Cassel; and later with Drexler. I remember the fans always wanting to trade him or release him. Kenny made three pointers, but it was sometimes nerve wrecking. Cassel could make his offense out of nothing. Barkley eclipsed the final years of Hakeems career. If he would have been a team player, he might have gotten himself a ring.

Coaches know that if these bone head player listen, they can achieve a game plan of success. Rick is getting success with the help of Basketball genius Battier, a very humbled McGrady, a point to prove Alston, the savy Luis Scola and Landry, and a 41 year old who with tremendous pride.

    Geez. It's great to watch.

we must win this, but it is ok to lose it. 21 streak is long enough.

Scola will have a field day tomorrow, the Rockets will dominate the board, shut down LA's inside completely.

If the Lakers cannot shoot 50% from outside, which is unlikely, the Rockets will blow them out of the building.

This is so weird, as the Lakers is the team I feel the Rockets would have most difficulty to handle because of their inside advantage, when both teams are healthy, of course. Now we will dominate they in the paint, it's unbelievable!
