    Ok, but is it a knee bruise resulting from collision during the Pacers game (as was initially reported) or is it some sort of damage to a ligament then?

    "They don't know why" is just an unacceptable situation IMO, similar to the fiasco diagnosis of Tmac's knee problem earlier in the season. Give the guy the same 3D MRI or whatever is necessary to figure out what the cause is instead of having the guy go thru some type of hit or miss trial and error every other day. This practice of just having him workout and then waiting to see if it swells up or not is the equivalent of going to a hack doctor with a degree from Honduras who just gives you some free medication samples he got as a promo from GlaxoSmithKline and tell you "see if those might work for you and come back next week."
