I think it's obvious Adelman's offense is not going to go anywhere. It's going to be exciting in the regular season, but against the contenders in the playoffs, It has no chance.

Spot on. And that's what Thibodeau was good for. Too bad we didn't decide to hang onto him. Yao is only gonna get more and more passive. The playoffs and the coming seasons are gonna be ugly.

I've said this 1,000 times on the board and too friends Yao is good and thats it ! Hakeem was a great center, Jabbar, Shaq, Chamberlian, Malone, hell I'd take Chuck Nevitt over Yao after the way he played tonight ! He is just a soft player ! I always said drop him off in a hood for a couple of weeks and let him play some street ball then bring him back to the courts and maybe he might have some balls !

This season, Yao has completely gone away from just turning and shooting. That was his staple move under JVG. Now, he solely relies on his hook shot which requires him to put the ball on the floor and results in a turnover more often than not. Therin lies the problem.

    Pretty disappointed in Rick tonight.

Thought he made two pretty critical errors:

    - Never realized that Yao was getting quickly double and triple teamed and didn't instruct Yao on what to do. So many times he got caught in possession and coughed up the ball.

    - Didn't take Ron out of the game in the third and fourth. Ron was playing out of control, was missing every shot he took, was getting Kobe way too focused and was screwing up the offense.

Players who really hurt us tonight:

Battier - simply fricken HORRIBLE out there
    Artest - see Battier
Yao - 7'6" small forward ...who doesn't use his height.

    They let down everyone else.

    And the 3pters...ugh.

Kobe is that good, he always is. I never put LBJ or Wade into the same sentence.

That said, what Yao's sorry *ss is going to say? It was really embarrassing.

LOL. What a game. Yao is def. a liability at the end of games. Absolutely useless. And we all know what we're going to get from Artest when the game is tight (stupid decision after stupid decision).
