Agreed, they sucked big time. I said earlier when Kobe got hot over Wesley that it was over, once you let him get hot, he will stay hot...McGrady forced him to miss a few shots, but when a great player gets hot whether it's Kobe or McGrady or whomever, they tend to stay hot...that should be a given by now.
tonight was the wrong time to lay an f-ing egg. unbelievable. un-freakin-believable. if i drank, tonight would be a night to drink heavely.
The Rockets are not a team on their way to the playoffs. It takes fire, heart, and determination. It takes getting "up" for every game and giving your all. This team is just too "laid back." Duncan was out for the Spurs and some "no-name" came in and hit 8/9 shots. No such luck here. Incidently, James had another great game. The Rockets have a homecourt jinx. They are terrible on their own floor.
here comes the 10 game losing streak. the only positive thing that might come out of us losing with all our players healthy will be jvg losing his job..or a bunch of morons getting traded.
Send him to the Texans training camp this summer and make him catch 10,000 footballs. Maybe his hands will get better.
JVG just got outcoached by PJ....... again. Before you all go around making excuses for JVG, remember this... PJ only had Kobe and a bunch of vegetables.... The difference is that PJ actually has an offensive plan and makes ADJUSTMENTS as the game goes on...
In more than a couple occasions, they gave the ball to Yao too late on the shot clock, which made repost difficult when they double team. Yao rushed some shots against the double team.
Yeah... PJ's stellar defensive plan allowed Kwame Brown and Brian Cook to hold Yao to less than 35% shooting when they were playing him ONE ON ONE, WITHOUT FRONTING. Yeah. (also, btw, didn't we do the same thing to LA on their home court?)
Another offensive rebound....by D.George. Once again, where is Chuck Hayes??? He is this teams best rebounder bar none, and that is a big reason why we are losing tonight. We also discovered that neither Stro nor Bowen belong on a winning team. This was as crucial a game as it gets in February and neither of those guys looked like they had a clue.
your right man. jvg is too boneheaded. no matter how many times cook makes the shots..he wont switch his plan. just like that boston game..remember when lafrentz had like 30.
PJ has called JVG's offensive scheme too predictable, and he proved it once again. Lakers knew exactly what to do when Yao woul dget the ball. They knew how, when, and where Yao would get the ball and they reacted faster than any of the Rockets did. NBA rings scoreboard. PJ - 9 JVG - 0 Next.
