Luke was a favorite of Phil... but Rudy didn't like his game too much, and never played him.

Hamblen was Phil's assistant, not Rudy's, so he'll probably do things more his way... and one of those is getting Walton more playing time.

Hubie Brown is really defending Ming on being 18 and 8.

Man I never heard some many YOFs telecasters in one game. lol

I can see from this game this Houston team really have developed the chemistry we have been looking for.

I love this team's ball movement. The Rockets lack of consistent ball movement used to drive me crazy.

Maybe both Hubie and Walton want to coach the Rockets next year? Cannot believe that Hubie keeps defending Yao's 18-8 on so many occasions. But I've got to agree with him that Yao will be 20+, 10+ when he averages 35-36 min even with Sura as his PG.

BTW, great defense played by the Rockets, especially Yao under the paint.

Did anyone see when they came back from a break sometime in the first half they had the camera on Yao and bob was standing right next to him, they were laughing and throwing fake punches at each other... seems to me like they like each other...

BTW, the Wolves played terrible and lost to the Celtics today.

Candi-man played like an all star today against Blount.

Did you guys hear Bill Walton talking about Dirk? He said Dirk should start over KG, actually I do agree with him. That is how good Dirk is right now, although not a great individual defender, but excellent team defender and rebounder, not to mention his scoring and passing abilities.

More and more I see Sura and barry representing when their both combined the 3rd star on this.

Sura's hussle in grabbing those seemingly untouchable rebounds and saving the ball out of bounds gave us a few buckets in this game already.

Barry's smart play and consistent 3 point shooting is what we needed in the beginning of the season.

Both of these guys unselfish play has inspired the rest of the team.
example Howard passing to Ming down low, who would of thought it possible in the beginning of the season?

The only dissapointment I have is their age. These guys could be difference makers come post season (when we are vying for the championship), but we are a few years away from that. Barry and Sura may not be on this team by then.

As soon as Bill Walton mentioned Amare in the same sentence with Hakeem.... ABC knew he must have had a little puff puff before that segment... and they promptly cut to commercial mid-sentence.

    Awesome.

JVG just put Sura ahead of Deke in the Center depth chart. 8 rbs for a PG in the first half, unbelievable. Props to Bobby.

Yeah, I did see that. Guess I'm not going to get my National Enquirer money for reporting the Yao/Sura feud. Glad to see the love.
