R2K, thanks so much for the highlights. Sura looks great. Seems like he and Yao are getting along just fine!

Some of you guys quit blaming Odom's sudden scoring burst on Howard please. It was not any one man's problem.

Juwan, Padgett played him pretty decently for almost 3 quarters and Lamar was not real agressive early on. He missed shots and when he saw the double team, he passed out.

Lamar only had 1 point until ~2 mins to go in the 3rd when Juwan played him tough but fouled and gave him his 2nd and 3rd pt.

Padgett came in and guarded Odom for ~4 mins and Odom dropped 12 pts on Scotty. (total 15 pt)
Weatherspoon took his turn and Odom scored a couple of buckets on him. (19 pts total)
Howard came back in and Odom scored 3 pts on him (22 total)

In the 4th quarter, the Lakers changed up the offense, went to an ISO for the most parts, 3 men on the weakside, 1 man up top and Odom isolated on the right. Odom was just quicker than anyone we had out there.

We kept dropping the man up top to double on Odom and that was too easy for Lamar to find for the 3pt shot. I would have changed up our defense and pulled one man from the weakside to double team Odom outright and leave 2 of our men to guard 3 on the weakside. That is the lesser of the three (3) evils, I think.

Another problem in the 4th, we gave up a lot of offensive rebounds becuase we scrambled to help a lot, which was good, but we were out of position to rebound.

    what do you mean??

the video should be online for the forseeable future.

if for some reason, you cant get it right now...then it is a problem with the connection to the server, and will be back online as soon as the support staff is notified about the outage

I dug out the link a few pages back, but the main problem, as R2K has suggested, is the connectivity...

looks like there are too many people downloading the highlights right now... I'll wait for a few hours and see what happens...

    thanks again

On TV during the game, I saw fans wearing straw hats, Yao's mom and others wearing garlas on their neck, hula-skirted cheerleaders dancing at halftime. I am curious why this game had a Hawiian theme? What a coincidence that Rudy and his wife were in Maui at the weekend.

I guess that Sunday's game really broke Lakers' back, and Hawks is leading Lakers 48 to 19 in the second quarter. :D
