I think basically Tmac played Odom real tight, shut down the base lane and Yao was eyeing the middle lane. Laker obviously wanted to space the floor to let Odom drive, which basically was the play whole 4th quarter. They played well without Mim, because of Cook can knock down that 3 three, which in turn opens up for Odom. Anyways, I think the last play was drawn up, and Odom kicked out, which was a right thing to do. Cook had a wide open three. We lucked out.

It makes perfect sense Jeff....Im in training as a network admin.. ;)

Ive been wanting to talk to you guys about this for a while...but by all accounts Clutch doesnt answer many emails and I didnt know if you would want to be bothered.....but that IP address does go to a domain name....but when I attempt to link to it here, there is a autoreplace filter that changes it to its IP address.....which isnt even the right IP address since the server was brought back online...

that wouldnt seem as bad at first glance....but the way the server was setup at that time, it defaulted to a different domain that is also hosted there.

I would be more than happy to use the real domain name....but I need the OK from you guys.(it is smeggy's domain.... http://216.40.211.120).. <~~~EDIT: see what I mean?? that isnt what I put there...

I understand the spamming concerns....but all I want is to be able to help out my fellow fans by providing these vids for those that cant or dont se the games...I cant serve these fom my home IP...and this server allows me to store large files with a high bandwidth pipe...
Im not tryin to get people to come to a place for monetary profit....so I dont think it should be considered spamming..

SEN - Badiane on the mend
FRANKFURT (FIBA World Championship 2006) - Senegalese international Malick Badiane's star was on the rise until November, when he went down with a serious shoulder injury.

The 2.08m power forward, who turned 21 on New Year's Day, was the 44th pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets and this was supposed to be a big year for the raw talent who moved to Germany from Africa in April, 2002.

Badiane wanted to show enough improvement in Europe this season to convince the Rockets that he was ready to make the switch to North America.

The injury has hurt his chances, however. Badiane says he just wants to start playing again.

He told PA International: "I think I will be back in a fortnight. I'm feeling good right now, but I need to be completely sure that I don't have any problems before making a return.

"The doctors have checked me over and told me that if I don't aggravate it and stick to my regime of lifting every day, then I may be back in 10 days."

It is no secret why Houston used a draft pick on Badiane. He is big and strong, and the Rockets were no doubt impressed by his ability to crash the boards and block shots. He will play a significant role for Senegal when they try to qualify for FIBA World Championship 2006 in Japan.

Badiane spent the 2004 summer training in the States and was believed to be edging ever closer to a move to the NBA before the injury. He had just had his best game in the Euroleague with six points, seven rebounds and four blocks against Pau Orthez on November 17 when he hurt his shoulder.

He had to have an operation to fix the problem, and that consigned him to more than two months of frustration on the sidelines.

"It has been hard, I don't like to be sitting down, watching the games," admitted Badiane, who is hoping that representatives from Houston can assess his progress soon.

"I have good contact with Houston and (scout) Dennis Lynch said he would come and see me in February.

"It's a month when we have a lot of games so hopefully he can see me in action, either in the Euroleague or the Bundesliga."

Without Badiane, the Skyliners have remained in contention in the Bundesliga, where they currently lie fourth. However in the Euroleague they have just three wins and eight defeats.

A spate of injuries means they need Badiane now more than ever.

"The coach tells me that they need me back and they need me to go straight into the team," he said.

February is a big month for the Skyliners and Badiane with crucial Euroleague fixtures, including the replay of the controversial tie with Panathinaikos on February 7, the German BBL-Cup quarter-final as well as a big league game against RheinEnergie Cologne.

"I hope he (Lynch) gets to see me in the Euroleague," Badiane said.

"He likes to see the Euroleague games because it's far more physical than the Bundesliga."

Yeah, I said the same thing. I tivo'ed it and just finished watching, I loved that move Yao made at the end, one really aggressive "eff you" power dribble, raises it above his head and got fouled.

I am glad he made the free throws, he's missed some free throws during other close games which I think he was referring to in this quote (which AP didn't catch onto)

Good win... poor 4th quarter, but you knew the Lakers were going to make a run. I loved Sura, Barry, and Wesley this game... they were awesome and all over the floor.

Hey, someone in the row behind me said that! Wonder if that was you?

Anyway, great win for the Rockets.. my girlfriend asked me if i was nervous when the lakers had the lead in the last minute.. and I said "Nah i'm not nervous, I trust these Rockets will get it done" and it was just great to see it pan out. I watched Sura and Yao a lot and they look to be good friends.. and Sura passes to Yao several times.

It was great to see us playing real good without a dominating T-mac performance. Bob Sura impresses me every game. Yao is becomming what we all want. Weatherspoon is hitting 18fters. MoT has phantomitis. I love this team.

I can't believe we won the game when we got out rebounded 54-36. Almost 20 more possesions and we won. We are showing that we can win a variety of games.

Before this recent run it seemed like we only won games that we dictated. I really like this team.

It finally feels like we have a team of players instead of the 8 years of players on a team.

That 54-36 rebounding edge is a bit deceptive. LA had 13 more turnovers than the Rockets, so that's 13 change of possessions that didn't require a defensive rebound. The Rockets actually put up 12 more shots than the Lakers. So we actually had more possessions. The numbers don't quite seem to add up, but whatever.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but I'm really glad Hubie Brown is doing network broadcasting again. He's got such a unique voice from that old school of basketball play callers, and obviously has intelligent and grounded criticisms/praise. Not to mention I think he gives the Rockets just the right amount of props that we deserve, which is refreshing, as it has been obvious that Rocket-bashing is in vogue.

By the way, am I the only one that cannot stomach Tom Tolbert? Is he the future of NBA broadcasting. If so, thank god I grew up when I did.

great win! despite the poor 4th q. the last few plays were awesome! yao steped up and strong, got the foul and hit the clutch free throws. and the last play, i guess tmac must have said something like 'put me on odom and i'll stop that sob':D during the break, and he did. whew.

Yeah, Hubie called a great game. About the only problem I've ever had with the guy is when they show his face on TV. Keep him as the voice in the background, please! :D

And yes, Lex Luthor....errrr, Tom Tolbert sucks. He makes Steve Kerr sound objective.

Thanks YallMean, that was pretty much the exact level of description I was looking for. It seems to be typical JVG defense, Stop what they do best and take our chances on their second best shot.

Thanks to others for your answers also. Loved the vid, wish it would open for me.

do you have the xvid codec installed?

google "xvid binary" , download and install and it should play in any video player you have (except Real Player which is a major POS)

This question gets asked a lot.....

I wonder if it would work better if Clutch hosted the videos on a page, and gave you the ability to load your stuff up there.

On the page it could state what you needed to view them, and people could learn more quickly.

man....no matter how many times I have posted the bit about codecs and video players....there is always someone that hasnt/doesnt read them...

You have to realize how much space it takes to host all the videos I have online(it is alot)....combine that with how much Clutch already has to dish out for bandwidth alone...I think that is a suggestion that is very unlikely to happen...

besides...I already have a page that details all that is needed for these, I just dont have permission to post it without being regarded as a spammer.

that is why I only post direct links to the videos.
