Thank God we hold on and win this one. If we had lost, this would have been one of the worst Rocket losses I have ever seen, but it did not happen.

It made my heart feel good to see that jabroni Luke Walton fumble the ball away at the end.

But obviously the Rockets have lots of work to do before we can get really excited about them - mainly where has the defense gone?

Wow, some of you guys figured out to put TMac on Odom before JVG did? He must be logged on to the bbs on his cell phone...

    I will take W.

But they need to figure out what was going on out there. The 4th quarter was ugly.

again, able to get back the game and win is one of the biggest differences. I hate to see them blowing such a big lead, but hey , at least they won, and i forgot how many times they have done that already this year....

    A great win.

Yao was really huge in the last one and half minutes. both on the defensive end and that pair of huge free throws!

Great win! This puts some much needed distance between us, the Lakers and the T-Wolves. Memphis is just 1/2 game back.

28-21, and the best news of all, Boston won in Minnesota so it pushes us up 3 and a half games over Minnesota. Also, the Timberwolves next game is at Memphis, ours is at home against Chicago, who struggles on the road. BIG, BIG win! Monsterous win!

Without yao in the middle, Howard was getting killed by Odom.

I don't understand why JVG took him out with 4 mins to go.

If you want Ming to play more minutes you've got to gradually put him out there longer and longer to get his body accustomed to bigger minutes. He will never improve his conditioning if they baby his minutes with such scrunity that it almost cost us the game.

Houston needs to draft a young power forward coming out of high school. Get someone who can stay with these guys like Odom, Gasol, Dirk, and KG. The 2nd half with Odom just killing the Rockets was exactly why I was enamored with his game.

Who said JVG can't adjust for a win. Did you see Ryan Bowen (who I never really liked). He slapped that rebound out of Walton's hand at the end.

That was huge!! There was plenty of time for Walton to put that rebound back in.

    Great call JVG!!

There's a few PFs available right now, like Stromile Swift soon. I know some people don't like him, but I'd rather have Shareef Abdur-Rahim on Odom then some of the guys we're running out there.

Whatever it takes, bad call, lucky shot whatever. Finding a way thats the mark of good team. Props to the whole team for taking up the slack for T-Macs subpar game.
