The key with attacking O'Neal is to make him defend in a variety of ways.

Post him up, pick and roll, face up, penetration and dish. You can't just do the same thing to him over and over again... Shaq will get comfortable, start anticipating, and he's too athletic to be stopped.

In the 1st half, the Rockets primarily were trying to post-up Yao, with mixed results... he made 2 shots in the direct post againts O'neal, but had 2 blocked. (and just plain missed on about 4)

I think they'll try to get Shaq to defend some pick and roll in the 2nd half... something he is HORRIBLE at.

Guards need to push the ball up the court to take advantage of the transition defense. Shaq isn't going to run tonight.

OMG if I see another Shaq block on yao i'm gonna hurl....

4 should be the quota for 2 games worth, not one half and 1 min.

Steve with a SICK CROSSOVER... against Payton.

    Nuthin but net.

He had him jump to the opposite side of the lane with that move... soo sweet.

Well, I consider the dunk that he had when Shaq whacked him on the head as a dunk ON Shaq. I don't think Yao's getting humiliated. If he continues getting blocked for the rest of the night then yes I will say Shaq is humiliating him.

That Cuttino baseline drive to the basket on Kobe was a nice sight. Steve and Cuttino seem to have the upperhand this game as far as outplaying Kobe and GP.

I'm very impressed by yao's play tonite. He is showing his aggressiveness, although his shots are off. Keep doing, big man. I think the effort will someday pay off.

Yes. The officials must be Yao's friend and they can read Yao's mind. Therefore, they are calling BS fouls on Yao.

Yao is playing aggressively, but his outside shot is off.

So far, Rickets are playing under control and competitive, keep up the good work.
