Good first quarter for the Cat. 7 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

    Yao 4 (2-7) on Oneal

    Oneal 6(3-4) on Yao

Yao should not play against Oneal this way!:(

Rockets players are so stat hungry they would rather lose the rebound to the other team than let their teammate get the rebound. I've seen it twice already and i've only been watching for 5 minutes.

Yao needs a quicker release since he's not a quick jumper. He'll get blocked by 7 footers who can jump halfway decently every time.

Yao, when in that close buddy, you dunk it.

ON the replay, one could tell all Yao had to do was gather himself and it was obvious that he could have jamemd that over Shaq.

Yao is rushing his shot when Shaq is guarding him. Rox need more PnR involving Shaq.

Shaq is getting the best of Yao. Yao should be taking shots with Shaq guarding him. Yao looks intimidated by Shaq.

How old is Horace Grant? He can't keep up with Mo. The Rockets need to keep on feeding Mo till the Lakers start doubling.

I agree that Yao looks a little "scared" out there. It's so frustrating, because it's obvious that he could take it to Shaq on the offensive end if he really wanted to. He just needs to calm down and "want to".

He had a perfect chance to ram it down Shaq's throat, or at least make the big fella foul him. But he went out like a sucka....

the irony of that pass was Walton was just talking about yao passing ability and all the sudden he does an excellent pass. On a side not, every annoucer knows the rockets problems.

I meant Yao shouldn't be taking shots with Shaq on him. He's much better off taking outside shots with Shaq on the court.

I'm thinking Yao has the words "breaking someone's facial structure" in his mind.

I think they need to keep feeding Yao... its a good thing that they are attacking him offensively... these shots will fall and forces O'Neal to defend. Its a gameplan many other teams utilize and sometimes, its successful.
