Obviously Yao is the talking point for this game, but I give many props to Cato for not backing down from Shaq defensively, either. He had a sweet block on the diesel and took a nasty charge, as well. No way Yao could have kept Shaq under 30 by himself.

    Cat and Steve played smart.
Yao played strong ... in the same game ....
    What's the world coming to?
Next we'll probably see Jeff grow some hair?! ;)

Enough props were given to Cat, Steve , Yao .... our other players deserve lots of credit too.

    Cato hung in there well.
MoT kept us in the game early with his jump shots ...

JJ was big on the board and his pts all came at crucial time.
He got us started with a 3, then put the dagger in LA's heart not once, but twice. His 2nd 3pt stretched the lead to over 10 for the 1st time. His 3rd 3 pt extended the lead to 14 and effectively put the game out of reach.

I missed the second and part of the third section. But it is still a great experience.

Seems like enough is said. Here is my 2 cents.

Some moments which will be kept in the memory for a long time.

    1. Shaq is fould out, and then a closeup of him sitting on the
    bench.

    2. Yao's layup in the 4th quarter, what a footwork!

    3. Yao's dunk after catching an offensive rebound from Shaq.

    4. Cato's block on Shaq

    ... ...

And it is the first time that I feel really comfortable even when Yao's shot is not in. He kept attacking, he kept asking ball, he kept taking responsiblity. In several reports, I saw the quote from Yao that the game against Timberwolve is a milestone for him. He is worried about how to keep it consistent. Now it is the time!!!

Last but not least important, this kind of win should be the best solution to what is going on between SF and Jvg. I still believe in SF, also I believe they two can work things out.

Hey Clutch! wheres the recap? I liked the rockin and the got rocked sections.

hmmm... I wonder whats going on with Boki lately too. It must be weird to see a fellow second year with you (drafted same year) getting so much playing time and the focus of the offense.

    Have no fear..

We can match whatever the Lakers offer...and considering the luxury tax will more then likely not be in effect by then....We WILL match or even exceed what the Lakers offer.

They can talk all the talk they want...but there ain t no way the Rockets let him go.

I think the main thing will be to make Yao Ming and especially also his parents feel attached to the city of Houston. A little more salary money will not be what will determine their decision. I am not so 100 % sure that it's in the bag yet. But I surely hope that he will be a Rocket for life :).

This may have alreayd been pointed out, but did you guys read the quote where Shaq said Yao was getting the whistle? I guess he forgot he shot 8 more free throws than Yao.
