Please don't become the next jopat.

Gordon is killing it off the bench, don't fix what ain't broke. There is zero chance he is unhappy drop it

I was more curious about how you are so sure he HATES his role with the Rockets. You seem pretty confident you have his feelings pegged. Didn't realize you were an empath

Is all you are concerned with is beating the sorry Fakers by 39? Or in competing for a CHAMPIONSHIP? Gordon starting and playing 34 to 36 minutes puts us in contention to be a contender with one more move. We are not a real contender with Bev as a starter....period.

He was killing it when he was a starter. Please don't compare me with jopat because I have an opinion that you don't agree with. That's a cheap way to make a point.

I don't think one of the most injury prone players we have needs to be playing more than 30mim unless it's a playoff game especially if he is putting up around 20 a game already

I hate to look in the past but one can only imagine if we took care of business against the Lakers the first time, the OKC game, and maybe you could even throw in the CLE game. 18-4? Heck the second SAS game was sort of close

This is from before tonight. He's played much, much better since being moved to the bench.

Right... Plus he finishes games. That's what really matters.

It's an opinion based on watching his interviews, his body language, and knowing a little about human psychology. But I did mention that he is being extremely professional about it and accepting his role. I didn't say he was malcontent, I said he wants to start.

You could say the same thing about Ginobili, but he came off the bench and killed it in the minutes he had. He would move into the starting lineup if it made sense, but for the regular season they let others start for defensive purposes and to keep him fresh. Gordon is an injury prone player. We can always ramp up his minutes depending on the situation. A Terry-type role where he just kills teams' second unit is just fine for now.

I don't advocate letting Gordon playing starter minutes (30ish+), I don't deny the man of his talents, but it safer to let him come off the bench. The man is injury-prone, why load him with that many mins consistently. Keep the man fresh and he will still produce the numbers you want. Of course Gordon can be a starter, but I rather reduce the chances of him getting injured best I can. Why bother making Gordon play heavy mins, when the team is fine winning with him coming off bench. Don't fix what's not broken. We have better chance of winning a ring with Gordon not injured, the season is like a marathon not a sprint.

Beverly is fine in the starting lineup. Gordon would be a way better spark of the bench in a drought game anyways.

I think Gordon is on FANfrom86toNow"s fantasy league team.
