Toney Douglas performing well is good for the team and Lin. Should push him to work a lot harder on his game.

Theyve won their last 6 at home....and they are 3rd in the NBA in scoring. Do you think they should change the starting lineup?

I was watching the game @ MD Anderson library, but had to split right around 8:00 to go. I get home and power up my laptop only to find out we won

Can someone briefly summarize what got into our guys??

Watching coast to coast on Espn and it feels like the whole segment is about Kobe. The guy even said Kobe, when TD took a shot. I hate Espn.

The bench did great to win this game, but the TO advantage also helped the Houstons a bunch....plus Howard. I feel if Lakers really wanted to win this game, they could have won it....by subbing Howard out. If you are in the NBA for this long and still can't shoot FT...I don't think you will ever.

Just got home from the game. What a 4th quarter, wow! As you all know, I'm sure, the starters did not have it tonight. It was looking like a certain loss heading into the 4th, but Sampson took a gamble that paid off. Delfino and Douglas were huge, and how about Smith! Really fun to watch that comeback.

Obviously, we were lucky that Nash and Gasol were out, but then I guess you could say the Lakers were lucky that our starters were playing in slow motion for some reason. Luck is a part of the game. Tonight, it was with us when it counted most.

Hack-a-Ho was awesome to watch. Those free throws really got the crowd involved. That's probably the only time I'll ever type that, lol.

The best part was the multitude of Lakers fans bumming out and shutting their mouths at the end. Ha ha ha, oh man, that was worth the ticket prices. Great, fun win.

People just need to loosen up and enjoy this steal of a win. It was fun to watch. Sometimes in the course of 82 game season, u need games like this. I'm sure it does wonders for building the confidence of this young team.

    Way to be classy.

First off, you are an IDIOT for thinking I am "dick riding" the bench.

Secondly, my question is valid question. Greg Smith has been playing solid all year long, and I am thinking of his development long term.

Third, If you are out here just to bash on people, either dont respond to my question, or give a regular answer, like a simple "No."

Did I start a thread stating to flip the starting 5? No. Did I start a thread bashing any individual player for a bad performance? No.

Lemme close here with saying bless your heart. I hope you learn to be a bit more respectful around the boards. It's one thing to be "goofy" in the hangout when someone is jacking around. It's another to come into a serious post and be a bone-head

Thanks for your input. I agree with your viewpoint on PPatt. I always liked a Parsons Smith Asik front court

Yeah, the starters were on their feet cheering for their teammates; I mean, it's sorta like team defense, you're more secure and confident taking risks and playing free if you feel like someone's got your back. I think that knowing that the bench is strong can only help the starters play their heart out instead of feeling like they need to pace themselves.

As of right now, I dont believe so. Run this streak we are on as long as you can and develop that chemistry. Like I said earlier, I feel like it's synergy, and if that synergy stops, and we drop off in production, then I feel one of our high energy players off the bench might need to get into that starting 5.

Smith doesn't spread the floor like Patt does though. If he could do that I would definitely say start him but he doesn't. And I am no fan of Patt. But I stand by what I said. Patt will be gone from this team very soon in my opinion. Let him start to increase his trade value.

Alex...thanks for posting. I noticed Lin was jumping up and down at the final buzzer congratulating Smith. He would be the first one congratulating his team mates knowing he played a bad game. Coach D knows Lin's game and knows how to stop him.

Big shoutout to Douglas, Smith and Delfino. Bench came out to play tonight and got the W.
