I think he is more angry about the "dick-riding" part, then your objections to his sub starting idea, since the language you used was pretty disrespectful.

If I remember correctly, weren't most of those fouls Kobe Bryant running into Lin? If so, then I would not call them "stupid". Kobe was just getting the star treatment, and Lin was on the receiving end of it.

This is why you don't make a big stink out of just one shot. The game's 4 quarters long. If you played a perfect game then missed the game winning shot then it's somebody else's fault, not yours.

I understand Dmorey hates boxscores but they're really useful in evaluating a player's overall tangible game production, which is necessary in case you have buzzer-beater itis. Or in this case hack-a-dwight itis. At the end of the day DH, had 12 rebs and 19 pts on just 9 shots. Who had a better game, him or Kobe who played awful D and scored 39 pts on 31 shots?

that's because he had the freedom on the offensive end.

It was really exciting to have an offensive low post presence last night. i forgot that 4's aren't really supposed to just be tall 3-pt shooters.

From the Lakers board, "free sacre?"

LOL! Oh man. That's great. To be in such desperation because your star can't hit a free throw, so you unleash the "Free Sacre."

I was upset last night because of the poor play of the starting 5, but reading the Lakers board totally makes up for it.

I love the Rockets so much! James Harden for MVP right guys? The Lakers are such a bad team too haha.

The starting five were horrible. But wow, it sure was exciting to have guys on the bench come in and outplay the Lakers starters. At the beginning of the season I was expecting the Rockets to win maybe 25 games, so I'm really impressed with what the team has done. The youngest team in the league is far from being the worst team in the league, and that's exciting.

Blaiyan has uploaded some of last night's highlights! Don't mind the name, he adds Lin's name in there because people request them or he's Jeremy's fan but either way he always adds lots of team highlights.

Check Smithsanity take over at the end.

I got so focused on the starters' crap play, I didn't even realize there were quite some nice plays in there :p

No but that is exactly why Lin needs to pick his battles. In an ideal world Lin would get offensive charge called on Kobe. But this is the biased nba. He just can't risk getting fouls like that.

Harden finished the game well but wtf was he thinking the first 3 quarters? Just awful, awful shots. Reminded me of the OKC game earlier where he went 1 against 4 and then got blocked over and over. Those defended 3 pt heaves obviously aren't working too.

Of course he did get it done in the play-offs last season including the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs.
