Tonight...

12/1206 will be a great day in Rockets basketball. With TMac in the stands, Yao Ming will show the NBA that he can do it by himself. He will show the league that he is the best big man on the planet.

that would be nice. I think though that yao can put up those numbers and we will still lose if the other players (luther, rafer, chuck and battier) don't have big games. To me the statement from a win tonight would not just be yao ming is really good, it would be the rockets are a championship caliber team capable of winning without their injury prone offensive facilitator.

that's probably not enough for our TEAM to beat the other team cowboy. Well unless everyone steps up, which is a condition that does not exactly inspire a consistent confidence like having T-Money. God, this Tracy situation depresses the hell out of me...

Yao cant win the game by himself against the fakers. Yao (without Tmac) will NOT play as well as he's been playing with Tmac on the floor. stop lying to yourself. Tmac makes Yao's life much easier and prevents the Defense from collapsing on him.

as for tonight, watch for Yao getting in foul trouble (because the refs LOVE the Lakers and they will give them every call they want).

Prediction: Battier shuts down Kobe (and by that, I mean Kobe scores 27 points on 10-45 shooting), Yao gets limited minutes because of foul trouble, and when he is on the floor, Lakers will front him and triple team him, he kicks it outside --> bricks. Luther Head tries to pick up Tmac's rule, too bad he sucks when he tries to do so much. Lamar Odom goes off on us and Brian Cook hits 9-9 from 3 point line for a new career high 36.

I hope Rockets prove me wrong. now if Bouncy plays, that's something else.

Are you from ESPN? Why do you predict Yao getting into foul trouble- assuming this is our home game- I am all years for a decent explantaion.

That is a pretty cyncial view of a soon-to-be hall of famer!

The key to win this game is to have a reliable teammate passing the ball constantly inside to Yao. If lakers try not to double team Yao in the beginning we need to seize that opportunity and get Yao touches as much as possible. Once they start double teaming Yao we need to rain down the 3.

This game will depend on the rest of the rockets. Yao will be Yao and get his pts and touches but someone else will need to step up big time for tmac. hopefully bonzi will shine thru.

This game will come down to the following

1- How badly we defend Lamar Odom- Hopefully Chucky will give 30 Minutes today

2. How well Battier Clamps down on Kobe- ie will Kobe stay under 25.

3. Will Yao get 20-22 FGA's - he has to put up more than 35 points ( 10 more because of TMac not being there)

4. Rafer not having illusions of grandeur and staying within his abilities

5. Luther keeping his 3 Point percentage going.

Bonzi- well I am kind of rooting for him- I will be happy with a good effort.

We win this by 4 points. 96-92

Can anybody help me out?

I don't have NBA TV, nor do I live in Houston.

I've seen people post Wooki links or whatever, to help those watch it on their computers. I've done this before, but I lost the link.
