Miss tmac more and more after such a disappointing loss. Wish him recover asap! if tmac still cannot play vsLakers this Friday, I am afraid Rox will lose to Lakers again in a week. Now we can learn how important tmac is for Rox.

As JVG thew out the whole kitchen sink onto the court tonight I am not confident that JVG knows what the heck he is doing anymore!
In the second half through team work the LAL got so many easy open baskets, the Rockets looked like an ameteur team playing professionals.
Our team didn't look like it made much preparation for this team!

Guys! Please realize that we lost the game because of JVG's coaching style. No matter how good the players are, JVG just can't beat Phil Jackson.

Don't blame on Yao's bad plays, Tmac's absence, or others. Just remember that Odom was out and Kobe was not in his A game. Again, Rox > Lakers (today), JVG << Jackson; as a result, Rox < Lakers.

Another friendly reminder, Rox < Spurs, Lakers and Suns under JVG.

You didn't watch the game. What you watched is just box score which is pretty much pointless. When you are down 26 points, not many will expect a come back in 10minutes. Everyone thought game was over .
Yao did pretty good tonight. noone else was hitting anything in the 3rd Q when lakers was doubling YAo.

JVG does the worst after game press conferences I have ever seen. I am not asking for cheery after a loss, but I have been to funerals that were more upbeat. It just kills him to say anything positive. Yeah, the starters collapsed in the third, Yao had one of his least impressive games, Alston and Battier couldn't hit the side of a red barn (what else is new), but it was an exciting run by the bench. They deserved a few props. Absolutely morbid.

why people hat JVG? I think he is very good.

Do you guys really think we will win before this game start?

If we win, I think most of you will think he outcoach phil, but even we lost, he still outcoached phil in my opinion.

You are a yao hater. Do you? Yao always face double team. Double team is not an excuse.

im sick of van gundy's attitude. he cant compliment the bench after their INSPIRED play in the end? who wants to play for a coach like that? he's the opposite of inspirational. players are playing not to get yelled at, instead of playing to win. there is a little something called positive reinforcement, you may have seen it with the likes of the phoenix suns. and im not talking about the run and gun system, im talking about the attitude. they dont pick themselves apart, they encourage each other and keep their heads up even when they're struggling.

no athlete wants to be micromanaged and scrutinized like that. its no coincidence the moment jvg cleared the bench and stopped coaching is the moment the rockets actually had some kind of offensive rhythm and confidence that didnt depend 100% on yao being able to dominate on his own. jvg is a great basketball mind, he understands the technicalities of the game, but he doesnt understand what it takes TO WIN. dont bring up the knicks going from the 8th seed to the finals. good coaches get the best out of their players. van gundy is suffocating this team and draining the fun out of basketball.

This thing is freaking mental. We really need a pitbull on this team. The 2nd unit showed guts tonite. Starters need to take note of it.

What makes you think he doesn't compliment them? Just because he doesn't build them up to the media, that doesn't mean he's not encouraging them privately.

It's not in his nature to dwell on positives after a loss at home -- particularly when we played so terribly in the third quarter. It was a nice run at the end, but in reality it means very little over the long haul. How far we go is going to be dictated by how our starters play, not how the end-of-the-bench players play in garbage time.
