i think it was bush league for mo evans to dunk it at the end with 3 seconds left. he could have easily dribbled it out. rockets need to remember that on friday and take it to those mofos.

we still lose even t-mac is playing today because Alston's suck even Battier can't make shot. in order to win all starters need a decent stat and one or two need to step up when needed.

I wouldn't be surprised if JL3 cuts into V-span's minutes. Instead of Head at the backup point (when T-mac is out) he would slide over to the 2 and JL3 would backup the point...

If Head, Chuck, Peg can shot their free shot in last 3 min, rockets will pull a win. Too bad, this is an ugly game.

Did anyone, maybe for just a second, think of instead of Alston if Mike James were in there? Hmm...

My thinking is this team needs a guy, whether it be a guard, swingman, or frontcourt player, that can put the ball through the hoop when they need to. Alston seems to get shots in just because he's due to hit one and odds are one will fall in. Not cuz he can reach down deep and rely on an offensive game.

wow, I never knew the JL3/Head/Padgett/Novak/Hayes lineup could be so deadly. They are the real starting lineup for the Rockets.

    ...kidding, of course

Hayes CAN NOT be in the game at the end if he can't shoot freethrows.

Those misses by Luther, Padget and 2 by Hayes cost the chance to take the lead and REALLY put the pressure on the Lakers.

I really think Rafer needs to go to the bench more often....as I have said many times before.....use JL3 as a Boykins type of player.

Great effort by the young guys. We should see some more play time from the young guys from now on.

as much as i am upset at the way bonzi has conducted himself thus far in his defense he has not practiced with the team at all till this past weekend. battier even said jvg system is very complex to just come in and learn right away. provided his attitude gets better he will get his time and find his niche on the team, if not you will see him benched/traded.

he did seem a bit distant from the team in the first 3 quarters (being the last to get get up from the bench during timeouts-last to stand up during times), but in the fourth during the run he was cheering them on with the rest.

if tmac had played, they would have had easier shots. dont underestimate mcgrady's value to the team, there's a reason they're 9-31 without him

    JVG"s strategy was

4 3pt shooters + 1 rebounding Machine to get the misses

    it worked VERY VERY WELL

    props to him

If Bonzi can really play and Novak, JL3 develop well, we can sustain the uncertainty of Tmac. Anybody agree?

at this point i think about mike james every time i look at rafer alston. james is always better than alston but having t-mac covers that up a bit. without t-mac james can be counted on to create his own shot, something rafer can do, but can't make on.

Yes, but he isn't here, and he chose to go to Minnesota, so I guess we should stop pining for him, same as Vince and the Texans I guess.
