ClutchFans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 11/4/2009

Hey guys, looks like Kobe Bean Bryant has a fever / flu symptoms for the OKC game. We'll see if he plays, how he does, and if he'll be ready to roll for the Rockets game.

Anyway, it's just the Rockets. No problem right? Lakers should be able to beat the Rockets with their bench players ...

Ron traditionally has great games against the rockets, granted those are the old rockets, not the new fast paced rockets. So lets hope the ron ron we knew last year shows up.


Hopefully this is a W. Gut is saying no, but it also said no for the past 2 games.. So it clearly doesnt know ****.


Is Pau still out?

 

Kobe Bryant is having "flu-like symptoms".
Questionable tonight vs OKC. Possibly out tomorrow as well?

I hope all of the Rockets have received their H1N1 vaccine.

 

i want to see pops get some playing time. the okc preseason game was awesome when he was throwing it down.

 

Does anyone else get the sense that teams especially hate losing to the Rockets? I know every team hates losing, but they see the Rockets without their 2 best players and think how the hell are they beating us.

I love it, but at the same time it gets ugly sometimes for the Rockets. Some players want to win because of their talent. They don't want to compete with the Rockets.

If only they knew how much more heart can accomplish.

 

I just want to see AB streak past the old man...derek fisher..that guy has got to be like 40 by now...GO ROCKETS!!!!

 

id say its pretty even, they have size we have speed, itll be a good game but Rox 112 - Lakers 90

 

its gonna suck if kobe don't play, then that will be the reason they lost to the rockets for the rest of the season.

 

Eh, it would be fair enough. We'd be missing Yao & TMac, they'd be missing Pau & Kobe. Let's call it even ...

 

Like games 4 & 6 last year, Rockets will run & gun for an easy win in front of a roaring crowd.

Man this team is fun to watch, and it's only been like 4 games.. Usually rockets season don't hit full speed until midway through.

 

Hope Chase's ankle is 100%. Rox win this big, and people start to notice. I wonder if Kenny Smith will eventually bring in another ass for Sir Charles to kiss...
