We were 6-1 and people saying we shouldn´t change anything, although we were really struggling with bad teams and barely beating them.
We were winning despite Alston, not because of him.
Now reality sets in and the PG position is costing us.
Anyone still thinks we shouldn´t change anything?

Beside all the bad mood, i am still wondering what happens if Rafer made that 3.
1.3second left, YAO hits 1st FT
1.3second left, YAO misses 2nd and gets back the offensive rebound
1.2second left, YAO passes the ball to Rafer Alston
0.1second left, Rafer Alston hits a three
End of game
WOW,that must be a ALL-TIME TOP10 play of NBA history :D :D

I dont fault him for his desire to see the Rox win. I fault his judgement on what the best way of accomplishing that was.

Im not too worried however. If Rafer keeps shooting like that he wont have much of a choice but to try other alternatives. Adelman is a good coach, better than JVG imo. Im just annoyed atm. ;)

We need Robert Horry! If he was there, he would make the 3pt!

when YAO start to miss is FT, that indicates he is tired. when he miss three in a row. Man, he is flat out

KM did good job on him, get him far away from the basket.
Out of gas, simple and easy answer.
Alston missed ton of 3 pointers and those are critical shots, big shots for ROX to take the momentum from lakers, but he nailed nothing

you watch the game? we played awesome D the entire 2nd half.

combination of us not scoring in the last 5 min + kobe pulling jumpers out of his ass is what kept LA in

So, so, so, so, so SAD. I don't like to bash players, because I know they are all better than me. In this case though, I would have to say Rafer should have been benched for Steve.

I believe Yao is getting just a bit ticked off when there is a guy who can give you a good load of points rotting at the end of the bench
top that with how the guy is one of your best friends
and the cherry being your other best friend (and best player on the team) ****s up his elbow
your damn right he was uninterested/ pissed just a bit

This is so true. We often forget how hard this league is. Training Camp and preseason can be deceiving. Where are the hard cuts RA talked about that Head, James and Scola were good at? Seems they have gone back to JVG offense, pass the ball to Yao or TMAC and everyone else watch. To back TMAC got hurt, but least we are not offically exposed. Training camp and preseason was a joke. I miss JVG already.

I'll tell you something the spurs, suns, and maybe the celtics and mavs have that we don't have. TRUE ROLE PLAYERS. Players who know their DAMN role and don't try to be a star. The only player that knows that on this team is chuck hayes, scola, luther head. Mike james and reefer and sometimes bonzi tries to be the hero when they are not. Stick to being a role player FFS. That is my .02 for this season. I have watched all the rockets games and this is what I have came up thus far.

i like rafer alot, but man, his shooting is horrible. i guarantee i can out-shoot rafer anyday and i can make better floaters also. injured knee and all.

hope steve is really working hard and getting in shape. really want to see this guy start and be our leader out there on the court.

and i hope hope hope hope...mcgrady is fine. GOD PLEASE!!!!
