To HoustonForever and everyone else who was offended by my racial post:

    I applogize.

It was probably just a case of some of you not getting my joke. It happens pretty often to me in real life, I am not as funny as I think I am.:(

Look, I am Chinese. I was offended when Shaq was making ching-chang noises. In my post, by having Shaq speaking his Chinese and Yao speaking his African Bush/tribal, talking trash about Kobe, I thought it was enough to not offend. Apparently it was still a little too much. Please delete my post if needed.

It would be pretty funny if one day Shaq and Yao becomes really good friends and a conversation like that actually takes place though. I play with my Persian and Black friends all the time. It's just a good time. I can see how someone who don't know us would get offended though.

No problem. I understand your point of view better. I'm just glad this didn't turn into a flame session.

Kobe's teammates are not any good. JVG will probably trap Kobe to get the ball out of his hands. The Lakers are similar to the team Rudy coached after Hakeem left for the Raptors. That team had some talent in Steve and Cuttino, but that was it.

don't know if there's any good one in the TC. but if you'd pass by River Oaks then try any of these: Hunan River/Back door Sushi, Birra Poretti's, La Griglia. there're also La Madeleine and Black eyed pea in the shopping center. that's where I used to eat before going to Astro's or Rox. it's on W. Gray/S. Shepherd, you then take on Allen Pkwy, keep going for about 6~8 minutes you'll see Toyota Center on your right. have fun.

Rockets eke out a close one without Tmac: 99/94
    Yao: 33 & 13 w/ 3blk; Howard: 16 & 10; JJ: 15 & 8; MoT: 16 & 6; Boki: 12 & 5; Dik 2 & 15 w/4 blk

    If Tmac plays, it's a romp: 113/98.

Dikembe should be used a good deal tonight for defensive purposes. I'd like to see he and Yao together for short stretches if the matchups warrant. They should eat up LA's big men.

Luke Walton is defensive liability for the LA Bryants as well. His man should be attacking hard and often when he's on the floor. He'll be ineffective and/or get in early foul trouble.

Kobe should be double-teamed consistently. Try to deny him a chance ... then just stop the other, less-talented guys from beating you.

    <sarcasm>Simple enough, right? </sarcasm>

By all accounts, this game is on NBAtv and channel 51. Of course I'm not in Houston, but that's what I'm hearing on that front.

Is this the reason they took the game out of the schedule on ESPN??
