I hope we have T-mac for the New Jersy and Atlanta games this week. We need some easy wins to get our swagger back.

Yao should not pass the ball out when the it counts!!! WHen T-Mac is not on the court, he should be the one to win or to lose!!!

Nice game though. Hopefully, T-Mac gets full recovery even though it might mean more loss for Rockets in the near future. I want to see Yao taking the chance to develop his mental toughness.

Yao still cannot carry the team. He played well but he has to learn how to take over at the end of games. He cannot depend on his teammate too much at the very end of a game. And rebound, he cannot get any.

Buddy were you even watching the game.

Yao kicked it out twice late in the fourth where we would have taken the lead, he doesn't want to take the shot and assume responsibility for the win or loss when he was not even doubled. with the way he was shooting he had the highest percentage shot than our crappy 3 point players.

Signs of leadership is making those tough shots in critical moments. I'm not bashing Yao but when he has that high % shot he needs to Take them!!

Oh no, he is still better than Moochie. At least our backcourst didn't let Kobe go off tonight.

JVG should have sat Yao so long in the 2nd. If we weren't down so much, Yao wouldn't have to play nonstop in the 2nd half and he would have been more leathal down the stretch.

BTW, that non-call on Yao's missed dunk was the darkest moment in NBA history:mad:

Old Rocket guards: speed, decent shooting, low assists, high turnovers.
New Rocket guards: 11 assists, 2 turnovers, 3-16 shooting.

Is the good worth the bad?

(I should have specified, I'm talking about current PGs. I'll spare throwing in JJ's 5-17 shooting, since he was also part of last year's squad.)

Bottom line, the only players that showed up at all tonigt were Bowen, Padgett and Yao. If the other players were able to play at all to their capablity, we wouldnt' be in a situation where we're down by 3 with a few seconds left. Was it me, or did it seem that no one of our forwards good guard Odom at all.

That is called trusting your team. Did you see Kobe start jacking up shots when he was double teamed, despite not taking a single shot in the fourth?

Is it possible that JVG runs the offense through other people?

Gee, people are giving up on the Rockets already. Yao showed aggressiveness, and the team showed heart and efforts in coming back for the second game in a row. Yes, we lost because a couple of players can't make good decisions(or you could say they plainly sucked), but giving up on them after quite a few encouraging signs? The team's talent gap is big after T-Mac and Yao, but we can try to make the team better surround them. It is a completely different situation from last year. Last year, we knew Francis had talent, so when he made mistakes, it was really frustrating. This year, we knew our talent is not at the point guard, and Lue and Ward aren't the answer.

Were you actually watching him in the last couple of minutes? Aggression was not a part of his game when he threw the ball out of single coverage for ugly three pointers on about four separate occasions towards the end of the game.

The only positive I saw in this game was Padgett.

Well, with out TMAC in the game, the team played well against the lakers, even though this is a tough loss, it is still no too bad, because Yao did show good progress.

So, hopefully, when TMAC is back, Yao can continue to play at this level and continue to improve.

    Yao, keep it up.....

Sign of leadership is to trust your teammates if you believe they have a better shot. Stop bashing Yao when he scored 32 points and single-handedly kept Rockets in the game. Ask the supporting cast to step up.
