On talent alone though. But if we had an actual system, we would be playing much better no matter who is out.
Looks like most of the same usual suspects complaining even after a win despite winning by double digits and missing 3 of our 6 best players. #worstfansinthenba
The Rockets won by 15... Not sure what you want. The "struggles" the Rockets have had have mostly been injury related or depth related. So tell me, which retread coach do you want?
LMBO! We beat a La Laker team without a healthy Kobe and a lot of their key personnel and we needed hero Harden ball to do it. That is not Championship ball. Yes i'm happy with the win, I'm happy that Harden gets to display his talent, but this type of play won't work against elites. Harden cannot keep up these types of minutes and having the team solely rely on him, if he goes down we are done.
We need to get healthy. We miss our starting PG/SF and our bench is weak.. But defense is my biggest concern, and it doesn't matter who is playing on that end of the floor. Defense is an effort thing and until we figure out that actually trying hard on defense is necessary if you want to get past the 1st round in the playoffs we are going to have a hard time establishing home court advantage.
With effort and intensity the team can overcome its flaws and beat inferior teams like the Lakers. Harden lead the way in the third and won the game for us in spite of a amateurish first half. Against good teams we won't be in a position to come back from a first half like that.
The Rockets won by 15 points with 3 of their top 6 players missing. As far as beating elite teams, the Rockets will not beat elite teams without Parsons, Beverly and Asik. The Rockets are actively looking for a reserve 2/3 to cut Harden's minutes. As it is, the bench is just bad. Again, what retread coach available do you want?
You're really content with 13 points, 4 assists & 4 turnovers from your starting point guard? I'm not criticizing Lin tonight because I hate him, I'm criticizing him because he needs to play better on this upcoming road trip.... The Lakers are Gasol & a bunch of scrubs.
13 points and 4 assists is average but it is not average when he went 4-12 shooting and had 4 turnovers. Lin had a poor game, period
Dude, Bev would be lucky to get even half of that on any given night. But since he ain't Lin, it's all good right?
- Another slowwwww start. Remember that stretch when we never trailed at home? Would be great to get back to that. - FT shooting remains poor. I've come to somewhat expect it from the bigs, but everybody else?? That's going to lose us a game one of these days. That said, James Harden is an effing boss. I yelled in a total stranger's face on that eurostep lol. We won, GSW lost -- and that makes a GREAT night for me.
Had it been 14 points, 4 assists, with no TO's, I would have called that sub-par at best. But, with the shooting and the TO's, let's just bury this one under the rug and say next game please.
The problem is not just with this game, we actually played the same way when we had Bev, Parsons and Asik or have you not been watching our games lately? I have already stated what REAL COACH I want. I also already posted an article where Mchale admits that he doesn't run plays, he is a "fly by the seat of my pants" type of coach. That won't win playoff series. ISO BALL won't win playoff series.
This. Some of you guys need to stop whinning about McHale. He is doing a good job with the hand that is being dealt with all the injuries and disgrunted players. Besides Morey has already stated that a coach is worth about only 5 wins. Take that into consideration, the vast majority of the time, it is all on the players to perform.
So how unbearable will Clutchfans be next week? 5 games in 7 days We'll lose some games and the sky will be falling again. Away at Atlanta Away at Washington Away at Boston Away at New Orleans Home against OKC
