TOs like this are bound to and have to happen when McHale also wants to train and develop Asik and Morris in offense. Lin is just the one to implement it. I would actually worry if Lin has not been doing those aggressive passes, then we won't be developing our interior game and front court. It is always difficult when you want to win games and develop your young and inexperienced players at the same time. I would rather have the Rockets develop more in every aspect especially in defense than to have them play safe but missing the chance now to learn to become a better championship contender later. As long as these TOs happen for a good cause, we shall just take them as the price to pay now for bigger reward later. And our young Rockets have already exceeded every one's expectation so far with their 21-15 record, haven't they? I am pretty sure they will make the playoff this season. Whether they can go further the the first round actually depends on how fast they improve and develop before April.
Playing against a very good team, especially against a 5-time NBA champion and a 2-time MVP, more TOs is very normal. BTW, both Kobe and MWP had five TOs against us too.
Kobe's comment on Lin's performance When asked what he thought about Jeremy Lin's performance in the post game interview, Kobe said "He seems to play especially well against us. I don't know. He played extremely well tonight."
That's Dan D'Antoni, MDA's brother. He was an assistant coach when MDA was the Knicks' head coach. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Dan D'Antoni (former Knicks assistant) on Jeremy Lin: "It comes down to this: Jeremy ran what Mike teaches really, really well."</p>— RECAPP (@RECAPP) <a href="https://twitter.com/RECAPP/status/204614340622553089" data-datetime="2012-05-21T16:47:15+00:00">May 21, 2012</a></blockquote>
