My favorite thing about this game: Harden's defense. Lakers took him out of the offense. He sat for a while. When he came back in, it was clearly with the mindset, "If you're gonna make me rest on offense, I'm gonna show you how I can defend when I spend my energy on this end of the court." And he did. Standing guys up, stealing the ball, grabbing rebounds ... very impressive.

Bruh...if you arguing that Chriss should be playing, you have already lost the argument imo haha. Also Tucker was amazing on the boards tonight, idk how you take him out the way he was playing.

But, we should prolly get Hartenstein back lol.

Absolutely. He completely changed the game with his defensive impact for a nice stretch .

What adjustment did u want? We have sht players, two of our starters are injured, u have to rest Harden for him to carry you. D'Antoni does sub players out to counter lakers sub, not like he's literally just clapping his hands like mcfail

Lol really, that’s all you took from that post?

I don’t give a f*ck which big man he put in, but a big man should have been in. D’Antoni and his small ball crap WILL cost this team in the playoffs. His situational awareness is garbage.

Attention, @DaDakota: If you had watched the game, you would have heard Mark Jackson talking about what a leader Harden is by playing decoy in the final couple of possessions so EG could get fouled, instead of demanding he get the ball so he can chase meaningless stats like another 50-point game, which was well within his reach.

I really hope that Faried can give Houston at least 15 minutes of solid contribution. I am tired of these centers bullying our guys, and it's only been 2 games!

    missing u: clint capela

Is there any debate that Clint is the 2nd most important player on this team?

Zubac is an 80+% FT shooter dude...the odds were very low for what you were saying.

You were watching the game right? Did you not see Tucker come up with clutch rebounds and almost clutch rebounds??? Was Nene not getting bodied by Zubac regardless....???? Sheesh man.

WHAT BIG MEN DO WE HAVE???? You think Hartenstein will be our back up big during the play offs.......nah. He prolly should have played tonight but he shouldnt be in a playoff rotation. Need to make a trade.

D’Antoni is really hard to evaluate overall because there are warts. He is not the best at details and those do matter. In the past he would not call timeouts, not make substitutions and not have his team prepared for every possible scenario.

Basketball is improv for D’Antoni. While I sometimes question his lack of detail, he has overall been excellent.

LeBron isn’t even the best James in the league.
