We might win, anything can happen in the NBA. Hornets beat the Lakers on their home floor a couple of weeks ago and the Knicks beat NO yesterday after we crushed them so we have a chance if a couple of guys get hot and the team plays defense.

Scola will have a tough time guarding Gasol. That guy's been hitting everything from midrange this season.

Scola guards him well though, he has played him for years....

    Auto-Lose.

Close the season, trade mcgrady and rebuild the team with a star that can actually play more than 2 games in a row and try not to be the most uneffective player in the team.

Goodluck Lakers, a team that is actually fun to watch.

    My predictions:
    1. Rockets win
    2. Rafer makes 10 3-pointers
    3. Brooks gets an offensive rebound an putback between the legs of Bynum, Gasol and Yao.
    4. Yao has his first triple double: 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 chages taken.

Lakers would crush this team, I don't think Rox w/o Tmac and Artest can really compete with the best, role players can only do much.

We CAN win tonight but we need Yao to play like he is on two days rest and the best center in the league and we need our shooters to be hot. I expect us to compete but if we lose I won't be too disappointed barring a utter collapse...

Hate to say it, in order to win it, Rafer has to play well, and score some points. I guess that Brook, Scola, and Yao will do their jobs, it is up to other role players to play well.

    Rockets:101
    Lakers:98

Looks like Vujacic is doubtful for tonight because of back spasms.

 Yao wasn't on the team that year, and the Rockets didn't make the Playoffs in 2000.

the '99 playoffs against the Lakers had Dream Chuck and Scottie

Sigh .. I am afraid this match maybe ugly. The first match was horrendous but that was with all three superstars playing. I hope we at least put a good fight in this match unlike the last time we met.

Are you serious, Gasol has embarrassed Scola many times. Scola never hangs with Gasol. Thats the key matchup, if Gasol is contained and doesn't go for 20pts then Rox win. Scola better step up.

Damn, I was hoping to see Rafer make him look stupid again.

Hopefully, A&W (Aaron and Wafer) will have a good game today. Good thing we got the Kobe container back this time around. Last time we took the lead early, lets do it again and keep it! Lets go Rockets!
