This right here. The inconsistencies across the board, just one guy turn into a rotation player PLEASE? Even Wood, that was a quiet 20 point night man. Why is Gordon even getting minutes at this point?

This roster is the best tribute someone can do for Daryl Morey's skill as GM. We simply don't make sense.

This is a situation where everyone is trying to de best for themselves and the only one losing is the team. It's time to let Harden go and work on our future. He is not doing any good to the team and we are still losing, sit his ass down, let the GM work a trade meanwhile, but at least allow us to get a team that wants to play and 48 minutes of play to evaluate our coach. We won't be able to find out if Silas is good or not while he has to give 35 minutes a night to guard that wants to be traded.

    Teams aren't making high trades
because they think they can get him cheap later
everything else is bias and hyperbole

Being a snob doesn't change his mediocre play. lol What is you point? Morey and MDA aren't doing any better? They chose to leave. It's time to stop blaming everyone else. Sometimes people just don't get it done. I was iffy about MDA when we hired him. He should have been relieved of his coaching duties long ago before Morey got fed up. Some people are just too headed for their own good. That's why some former coaches are assisting new head coaches.

Remember when we traded Chris Paul, the perfect fit alongside James Harden?

Turns out...you should try to have players who fit together. Gosh...who knew!

Clutch is not the end all be all. Sorry love you clutch, but we are not even half way through the season. What is you fascination with Trumpism? Why would the FBI be knocking on my door? You sound dumb. The whole team played horrible. Even if we iso'ed this whole game, James was not playing that great. Our problem is NOT OFFENSE, Harden knows he can get whenever he wants it. Our problem is DEFENSE. Turn a blind eye all you want.

I agree he's not maximizing Harden, but that's a good thing long-term. Harden won't be here much longer. Installing a system that isn't built around isolation for the best to ever do it is a good thing, because that's the future. Defense is what concerns me with Silas.

    Offensive ratings

Wall AND Harden : 103.2 (would be 2nd worst in league)
Harden NO Wall : 120.0 (would be BEST in the league)
Wall NO Harden : 100.6 (would be worst in the league)

Essentially 36 minutes a game our offense is garbage and about 12 minutes a game when Harden is alone with shooters our offense is the best in the league.

The problem is very clearly both sides of the ball. Our offense is worst in the league level with Wall on the floor and only performs beautifully(like the last handful of years, when Harden is out there without Wall)

Offensively this is so far just as bad of a fit as Westbrook, difference is Wall has astronomically better defensive numbers than Westbrook so this has still clearly been an upgrade.

It's not and that's something he has been doing for years now. Trying to argue with the refs after a call doesn't go his way just to give up a basket on the other end of the floor. Like you said which is true that could be anywhere from a 4-6 point swing. But mainly Harden simply doesn't want to be here anymore. You can tell by the way he plays, his demeanor, and the way he interviews that he has checked out. That's where a lot of his turnovers came from last night in my opinion from him just being disinterested. I hope we find a resolution soon, I don't wanna go much longer with this kinda chemistry.

Wall needs to study some Chris Paul videos and how to use the PnR properly. He has amazing athleticism he should be able to get easy spots .

The interested/disinterested discussion is the early club house leader for dumbest arguments of the season.

Plays well or any games against crappy opponents and we win...INTERESTED

Off shooting night, or losing against title favorites...CLEARLY DISINTERESTED

James Harden, one of the greatest offensive players in the history of basketball, has taken less than 20 shots for 4 straight games. He's compounded that with terrible defense. He's still not doing anything off-ball.

I agree it's kind of a pointless debate whether he's "interested", but clearly is not doing what he can to win games, let's be honest. The only time that's really been the case is against Portland.

    That's a curious spin.

This offensive system that encourages more touches for role players and has them trying to be playmakers is just flat out waste of analytics and everyone's time.

But I agree, as inconsistent and sometimes downright bad the offense has been, the defense has been a total abject failure.

Why do Rockets refuse to heed all lessons learned during first half of last season regarding hybrid defense?

There are a bunch of Josh Hawley's and Ted Cruz's on CF.
