That just makes it so much sweeter, nothing shows the heart of a team when you star is out, another one plays horrible, and u still smash! I think mutumbo and J-ho should but up for team MVP!

Hopefully you man up and talk to Patience considering he was right about a 20+ Rockets horse whipping of the Lakers.

Well you and I just disagree. With a full team, the Rockets have at least 6 double digit scorers, and with two guys 20+ scorers - Yao, TMac, Battier, Head, Howard, and Bonzi. Rafer's role is not to score - his role is to control the ball without turnovers. BTW for the record Rafer can shoot and he will prove that this year. And now you can return to whining about the poople whining about the whiners.

Man, I really enjoyed that game. Deke with a record breaking game and showing AARP members can play in the NBA. Luther with those two dunks. Rafer breaking that shooting slump. Battier and Juwan with great games. I love this team. You know if the Rox play .700 ball while Yao is out, JVG might take his sweet time before he lets Yao back into the rotation.

I think we should also give rafer the credit he deserves in this game!

It's much more exciting watching the Lakers get slaughtered by the Rockets.

I love the way the Rockets are playing right now. I like how they spread the offense around.

I had rather see Yao and Tracy cut back on a few shots per game and distribute that around to the rest of the Rockets. The rest need their shots to warm up too.

You bet they can. Currently one punch is lethal; when the other punch with Yao is also lethal, which team can stand in Rox way?

Of the nine Rockets who shot the basketball tonight, the only one who connected on fewer than 40% of his attempts was Tracy McGrady.

That has got to be one of the most bizarre stats of the season.

How many games in Tmac's career in which he had more assists than points? Seriously, I want to know!

How about we all agree that skip had a good game and we hope he can play within himself in the future. No more of this bickering about this rafer stuff, its seriously the same old stuff and we've heard it all about 100 times within 100 different threads. We all root for the rockets, we wish for the best. Enjoy this win.

I am not pointing this at you or anyone. I apologize if it seems that way, you just happen to be the last post about skip. This is just a general message to the board.

his job is not to create his own scoring, but his job is certainly to score on him open jump shots. that's basically his only job. anyone can limit their turnovers when they basically bring the ball up the court and give it to tmac. i can do that. his job is to make teams pay for doubling. i don't see how much more obvious this could be (except to rockets management who thought having mike james sweet 3 point shot would be a bad idea).

well we're 36 games in and he's proven he can shoot 35.7%. he's got some work ahead of him to prove he can shoot.

The way Mountombo is playing, I'd make Yao his backup when he comes back. Only when Mountombo is struggling or in foul trouble would I give Yao more minutes

Of course, Rafer took so many shoots coz Yao was out, he want to contribute to this team, he plays with heart and determination. After Yao's back, Rafer will shoot less and handle the ball.
