I don't even feel that his shooting is a problem at all for the team. Most of the time he's fantastic on the offensive end. T-Mac's cold shooting is a rarity and most people know that. That being said, on nights like these, we need to resort to our other weapons. Like I said earlier, T-Mac can still impact the game with his other abilities.

Our offense went to the bench with Yao. :(
Fortunately, Knicks offense hasn't arrived in Houston. :)

you have to register a username/e-mail address, and they will send you a confirmation e-mail.

i used babelfish to get through it, by translating the entire page, or if that didn't work, copying and pasting blocks of text. it's all about perseverance, man. that and desperation.

Once again, you are still suggesting a change in strategy, and by the way, what weapons exactly do u suggest we use that we havent used tonight?

Agreed, but again, if he's open, he has to take the shot, it's just as simple as that.

As for contributing elsewhere, he's rebounding, passing, and defending nicely, not to mention the attention he garners when he's on the court that takes a lil pressure off his teammates. So he's doing other stuff well as far as I can tell.

Seriously though, this is one of those nights that a player might even struggle making a layup because when you miss that many shots you're naturally timid and you're constantly thinking and hesitating on the court. Often times, shooting slumps are all mental, so you must somehow break through that psychological barrier and the only way to do is to make a few in a row and regain that confidence...that can only happen if the player keeps taking good shots and doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger. Too much thinking might be your biggest enemy.

Yao got his shooting back. T-Mac is the next.

Consistent in what respect? I'm not advocating to take T-Mac out of the game. In fact, I'm almost positive that if he leaves the game, we will lose. We need T-Mac in the game for his defensive, passing, and rebounding abilities and because the other team still considers him a threat.

I would normally agree with your philosophy of "living and dying with your superstar" if we weren't in such terrible position heading to the playoffs. Right now, my focus is on the Rockets to win games.

OK, might be time to put Yao in? Just a suggestion.

EDIT: JVG obviously reads the BBS. ;)

Yao fouls Curry out...Good job big fella, just dominating inside.

    T-Mac is trying to miss :p .

But seriously, T-Mac can still be a force in the game because he's not one-dimensional. He's extremely multi-talented.

But 2/19??? COME ON T-MAC YOU CAN FIND YOUR SHOT, IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE LOOKING.

Huh? I didn't say JVG is doing a bad job tonight. I'm not suggesting to change our strategy sans having T-Mac shoot anymore. Our other guys are keeping us in the game because they're having great games. Simple as that.

Has there ever been a superstar that scored 2 out of 19?

I'm pretty sure Hakeem had a disaster game in 95 in Chicago... somebody look it up. (it was the year of the second championship).

EDIT: I looked it up myself.... he was 2-18 that game. Damn, my memory is good.... ;)

DWes missed a couple of open threes in a row, hope he stays hot from out there so we can close out the game, a few more threes would do the trick.

Huh?!! I don't remember that  A Center shooting 2-18? Was Hakeem cross-eyed or something on that night? There must be an explanation, no way a center goes that cold unless he's jacking up threes or something...
