Did I ever tell you guys how much I love Rafer Alston?! ;)

Nope, not one of my favorite Rockets, but he looked good tonight. Bogans looked fair, some good moves. I feel for Larry Brown, he should have stayed in Detroit. TMac is in a major slump and Ming looks good. They had to redeem for that horrid loss to the Lakers. Can they climb out of the hole? We will soon find out.

I think the smell of Curry made Yao hungry.

Well, I saw Stack24 and his girl on the big screen at the Rox game when they were scrolling through the crowd at the beginning.

Tmac was definitely off today, but hey, he's human. Thats why we have two superstars. Yao was on his game, nobody could guard the man. He fouled out Eddy Curry early. Tmac will be fine.

Yeah, well, he's not the only one wishing I had my shot :D . I'm going to have shoot a few hundred jumpers sometime soon. Not practicing is baaaaaaaaaad thing for your J :p .

I hope we find out what we're doing with Anderson. Assuming he'll be traded, every game he's on the bench, someone else is not helping us out. Same with Barry, if he's sittin' it out everygame, we're missing some production.

The play of Rafer Alston (14 pts. 7 ast. and 2 3's), Juwan Howard (10 pts. 8 boards) Yao Ming (24 pts. 8 boards 4 blks.), and David Wesley (15 pts. 4 3's) have been commendable lately, and was so today.

Even Swift did pretty well, except for fouls, and the new guy (Bogans) snatched himself a couple steals.

This team will only look better when T-Mac get's his shot back.

(Yes, I realize this was only the Knicks, but still.)

Interesting that Hayes didn't play. Why not?

Q-Rich would look good in a Rockets uniform.....we could probably get him really cheap, no less.

Practically the same as Howard's only a year longer. That's not the point though. He's one of those guys that are basically considered "damaged goods" that could help us. I'm talking about the Q-Rich as a Clipper. The kind of versatile, all-around player that could score from anywhere. He was in that form only two seasons ago. The guy is only 25-years old, not a bad option if you utilize him properly. He's one of those kind of attainable impact players you could get without giving up your 1st-round pick.

The goal would be to push for the once rumored Howard for Q-Rich swap that was discussed earlier (maybe include DA as well, if NY wants him). NY is loaded with swingmen and guards as it is, plus Isiah is the kind of fool that would think re-uniting Howard with Jalen Rose would be some kind of key in turning the season around. Sure, this presents a minor problem for us with replacing Howard, but I still think it's worth it considering Howard's age and regressing game.

Not saying it's the pathway to success but definitely worth consideration.

I think it was just matchups. I don't believe he played much, if any, last game against the Knicks either. Eddy Curry, Jerome James, and Mo Taylor, and Channing Frye are pretty big assignments for a guy Chuck Hayes' size. Taylor and Frye are great jump shooters, and Curry especially was giving Dikembe and Yao difficulties in the low post, even though the stats weren't really indicating that.

Thats the thing about tracy. even if his shot is off, he can sustain his impact on the game through so many other viable ways. defense, rebounding, passing and etc.

lol...that's the first time i have been on the big screen..someone actually saw me lol...where were you sitting bro?

One thing i was wondering was why does TMAC sit on the bench while everyone is doing shoot around? I mean does he shoot around before the rest of the team or just saving his back...kind of interesting to me. I usually get there about 10 minutes before the game tips off and he is always on the bench while others are still shooting around.

Clyde Frazier said the Rox wish they could undo the James trade because he is having a career year in Toronto but after watching Skip since he came back I am sold on the trade. I never saw James do what Skip does handling/ passing the ball, he might not be the shooter James is but his passing and D more than make up for it.

Alston is a true pg. I think JVG system is very complicated but Alston seems to add some of his flare to it. He showed it today. The offense really bogged down when he was out, i thought. It seems like he is having fun out there!!
