Alright but I do think that tweet guy should use his right to sue back because of the harshness of that punishment.

 

play stupid game get stupid prize. imagine if he said ima bomb the court jokingly, Jail time right there. 1 year ban seem generous.

If he was joking to his friends at the court about doing it, and got ban I think he might be able to overturn it. He posted it online for all to see about his "plan/intention"

 

From that standpoint yeah but you could easily talk about some guy who has been a model citizen and tweeted the first time.

I think sports is at crossroads with them wanting to treat customers as kings and provide the best services as possible and then are forced to inflict penalties.

That is if there is any leniency in the verdict.....which can be in the court room.

This can easily be fixed with the 3 Strike Rule as in other fields......obviously a bomb threat is different than a threat to just run up and down.

There is just enough context and nuance used in this.

 

Player safety, fan safety are quite important, the nba do not want any interaction that can end up like Malice in the Palace. 3 strike rule is quite wild for someone "planning" to rush the court

 

I know but I never thought of America as consumer friendly......they want your money but you are basically not free in the land of the free.

That is why I think even the Presidents are Reality TV dudes now. Everything has to be exaggerated and pompous and the basic Laws are blown out of proportion.

All that because people are scared of this, scared of that. I mean it is not going to be better just worse.

 

yes.this. It’s not hate, he is actually a good player, but he is not as good as those he is holding back.

 

As never sold on Fox. Some guys on here wanted to give up part of our core and picks for him. Lol

I would do it for a lower-rung member of the core and maybe two picks? but most of our young guys should be untouchable for a player at Fox's level. I think he's a really good player but pretty clearly not The Man on a championship team at this point.

 

Also, I sincerely love Fox and would love to see him playing for Houston Watched him play in HS and I think he cares a lot about winning.
