Is it just me or that guy on the right side there looks like Dikembe Mutumbo, or is that him? Who is that?

These numbers are projections. I am assuming his ball handling will also steadily improve as the season goes on, which should lead to lower TO number.

Just watched the game, and I have no idea why Woodson didn't try to slow things down. When you're a team full of senior citizens, it really isn't a good idea to try to run with the youngest team in the league.

I can't believe Tyson Chandler is the DPOY. He/Knicks didn't play any defense whatsoever. Our guys were practically walking to the basket for a layup. Felton definitely tried to prove a point right from the get go but I don't think he managed to score much when Lin was on him. And when Melo got caught complaining to a ref which led to an easy dunk?

All in all a great game. Must have been huge for the team's confidence to blow out the #1 team in the East. Not to mention Lin finally got the monkey off his back. NY media would have ripped him apart if the Rockets lost/Felton lit him up. Loved the smile he tried to hold back when he made the 3.

Also loved that even Toney Douglas made a 3 at the end of the 3rd, right in front of the Knicks' bench. Even better that it was Lin who set him up and you could see that Lin did a little fist pump and they high fived each other. Revenge of the ex-Knicks PGs.

What is more odd is that Woodson didnt play Camby at all. Camby is a ebast, old or not. He shouldve played him instead of that Novak/Melo at 4/5 bull****. haha

Oh and props to Asik. He outplayed Chandler last night. I watched the Bulls vs. Sixers playoff series, and he's come so far since then in terms of free throw shooting. Absolute steal.

Tyson Chandler got put in a high screen and roll every time with Asik setting the pick. The other Knicks didn't rotate back to cover the rim. The Rockets exploited this all game long to their advantage.

If Asik gets injured, this team is screwed.

LOL I know, wtf was that? Camby probably would have done a better job at rebounding than Chandler too. 7 boards?? Our PG got 7 boards.

Oooh I didnt even realize PPat was in foul trouble....the night he gets few minutes due to foul trouble is the night the Rockets win in a blowout. Coincidence? ;D
Yeah, I really want Morris to start but he's a really good spark off the bench.

Their great start was nothing more than a ~fluke. Everyone that knows Carmelo knew he wasn't going to be committed to that level of defense all 82 games. In fact Im surprised he lasted 7 games. Their offense was also just hitting non-stop 3s that you knew they weren't going to be able to sustain. And ugly trip back down to earth.:)

Camby must be hurt. They're going to have to hope their olds stay healthy this year.

That's why the Knicks are in deep sh** IMO. They have so many old or out of shape (fatty Felton) guys on their team, and Melo is in no way anywhere close to a tier 1 superstar. Their cap situation is still atrocious even without Lin. I do not see them as championship contenders, and they're only going to be worse next year.

Robert Anton Winston, american author and polymath who became at various times a novelist, philosopher, psychologist, essayist, editor, playwright, poet, futurist, civil libertarian[1] and self-described agnostic mystic supported and wrote about E-Prime, a form of English lacking all "be" verbs (words such as "is", "are", "was", "were" etc.), and preferred the term "maybe logic".[32]

Some scholars advocate using E-Prime as a device to clarify thinking and strengthen writing.[1] For example, the sentence "the film was good" could translate into E-Prime as "I liked the film" or as "the film made me laugh". The E-Prime versions communicate the speaker's experience rather than judgment, making it harder for the writer or reader to confuse opinion with fact.
