Woke up this morning with a big smile on my face. Lost my voice at the game last night :)

At the gate waiting to board my flight home. Thank you Houston for a great memory. So proud to be a Rockets fan. Will come back hopefully soon!

Could you move to Houston and attend all games? You seem to be a good luck charm.

Glad that your trip was fun and you saw two wins. How great is that!

Any insights on the team having seen the games up close? I'm curious how did the Knicks react to Jeremy and vice versa. I've always felt this beef between them was media created.

Lol...I give Lin more credit than that. He is tough as a nail, if not tougher. Otherwise he could not have survived all the discriminatory treatments by his own teams, and all the jabs thrown at him by the players and fans on the opposing teams throughout high school and college and his nascent NBA career thus far. Lin will be fine. Moreover, I believe we will see Linsanity 2.0 unfolds before our eyes gradually over the season. Based on his progression this season on the Rockets, unless something changed dramatically in his usage rate, I predict Lin can finish the season averaging 18/8/6 with 2.5 steals and 3 TO's per 48 minutes, which is not bad for a guy who is practically a rookie with less than 1600 NBA minutes played to his name.

Man, the Lin fans' expectations on him are really what is making the backlash so huge. 18/8 are Tony Parker numbers and he is getting paid 12 mill I believe, maybe even more. Lin is coming off knee surgery and is obviously not back physically and mentally yet. I see this year as a big development year for him.

Please "come" back to Houston soon! We need you at the game. The team needs you; Jeremy needs you! Lol

I am watching the game now because I missed it last night. That ball fake by Lin on his first shot attempt was nice. Really shook the NYKs. He needs to do that more when attacking the rim until his shooting gets better.

On the contrary, my prediction is based on reality, factored in steady improvement over time as he is bound to do according to his past history on new teams (tracing all the way back to his school day, he has always been slow to adjust to new systems because he is too much a cerebral player. But when he gets it, he really gets it).

Note those numbers I posted are based on 48 minutes. So far this season Lin is averaging 33.6 minutes per game, at 10.2 points, 6.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 2.92 TO PPG (NBA.com).

Assuming similar usage rate and similar manner of usage by the Rockets throughout the season, I don't see why not.

For 48 minutes those are reasonable expectations, but he's already averaging almost 2.92 TO on just 33 minutes. Will be hard to keep it at 3.0 for 48 min.

The Knicks' fast start has made a lot of their fans cocky. The Knicks will fall down to Earth. Melo is back to jacking up shots with regularity (started in the Hornets game) and no defense (several times whining to hte refs and not getting back).
