i see a decent game being played, figure the rockets to play off the energy of the rowdies.

    rockets 103-knicks 92

i am going to go out on a limb and say tracy will mess around and get a triple double

I don't care whether Yao fouls out in 5 minutes, Novak and Span does not play even if have 70 point lead, as long as Rockets is winning

Second home game, first one we PUMMELLED Dallas.

Coming off 2 pretty decent road wins.

McGrady finding his touch. Yao prominent. Role players starting to round into some form.

why does the prospect of a home outing against the lowly Knicks seem so scary...?

Let's take care of business rockets....The two big guns must set the tone. No more slow starts for Yao. He must make Curry play defense early to take him out of his game.

    Rockets 105
    Knicks 93

    4-2 baby!

i have a strange feeling we'll win by around 40pts...

OT: did you see how much larry brown ended up getting?

    http://www.nypost.com/seven/11082006/sports/185_sports_.htm

$18.5mil of the $41mil left on his contract... he asked for $53.5mil, lol

November 8, 2006 -- The most frequently asked question about the Knicks was answered late this afternoon - how much did Larry Brown get?

Brown didn't even get half – securing $18.5 million of the $41 million left on his contract, according to a 10Q form obtained by The Post and filed today. The settlement was brokered by the Knicks and his lawyers Oct. 30th, and the Knicks saved a bundle. But Brown still comes away with a total of $28.5 million for coaching the Knicks to 23 victories, including $10M he earned for the 2006-2007 season.

However, according to his five-year contract, anything the Knicks owed Brown was to be offset by any job he gets across the next four years. In the settlement, the Knicks will not get a break if Brown finds another employment. In the settlement statement, commissioner David Stern referred to that in saying nether side has any more financial obligation to the other.

Stern presided over two days of hearings and 17 hours of testimony in late September. Instead of making his own ruling, he asked the two sides to broker a deal - clearly an indication Stern felt James Dolan's case had merit.

Brown asked for $53.5 million in the hearing - an additional $12.5 million beyond the $41 million left on his contract for " liquidated damages" and attorney's fees. Brown hired one of the most expensive law firms in the country,

Washington-D.C.-based Williams and Connolly, which represented former President Clinton in his Watergate impeachment proceedings. Garden spokesman Barry Watkins said he could not comment because of the confidentiality agreement.

" He's thrilled that it's over," said Nuggets assistant Doug Moe, a long time friend of Brown's. " I know (the money) ain't bad. He got out of a stuation that was really bad for you and got some pocket change. He's good."

Its kind of dissapointing that Franchise isnt going to be playing. Nonetheless we are going to kill the Knicks either way. Rockets have another huge home game 110-85
