I am a big Scola fan he is probably my favorite player behind Yao and Brooks but defensively he was a little out of it this game and for a couple of games thats the reason he wasnt in the game in the end.. It sucks bc i want to see him out there but the guy is going through so much coming to the NBA after being the best player in his team that im not worried.. with time he will adjust and he will be the primary power forward of the team but he needs some time to fully adjust to things.

i agree 100%.. Tmac thinks he owns the team he thinks he is the big shot but hes not.. he robbed the team of heart.. Tmac needs to learn his spot i think its impossible for the guy but he needs to let his ego go and realize that its about the team not him.. There is a reason why they call him memac

Because he already learned that two rookies at the same time would be a handful? ;)

    Great game!

Aaron Brooks...man, I don't think anyone this fast has played on the Rockets in like 2 decades or more.

Yao was phenomenal tonight! As usual he turned Eddy Curry into his whipping boy. 2 great games in row by the big fella!

Gotta give Rafer some love...he is playing much much better ball over the last month or so.

Bonzi managed to hang onto the ball today, and looked good. He still managed to miss one gimme layup though. :D

I didn't like how Head was really forcing the 3s last night..but now I'm nitpicking.

Great team effort, keep it up boys!

I didn't catch the 2nd half of the game, but I'm so proud of Brooks...and to think that I booed at the rockets draft party when we drafted him......with Brooks recent good play I think the rockets can afford to put Mike James on the trading block.........

If he keeps playing like this, he will get some contract from some Chinese company for endorsing some sports products! :)

I like to see Novak get 4-5 minutes in this game as well, since we have been leading all the way in the game.

However, I still think that Novak will get some playing time under Adelman, maybe not in every game, though.

With gradual development, Novak can be a choice for the last second 3-ptr.

I think if the proven benches have been playing good, then the rookie bench players would have a hard time to get PT. This would be the case for most coaches.

Emotionally drained? That would not happen to really competitiors like MJ. You just can't lead the team if you can be emotionally drained. That's is just called weak.

Every champaignship team has a leader who never quits. Then you talked about the role players.

Why wasn't Yao emotionally drained in that game and still played hard throught 4th quarter?

I am not proud of the way Kobe played that game 7 either. He was a looser in that game as well. He was a looser in that game mentally as well.

He was also two hand pushing everyone around him under the basket. I just re-watched the game and I saw him do it at least five times in the third quarter.

Um, because at the time, the other players getting minutes(Francis, Snyder, and James) hadnt played themselves out of the rotation or gotten hurt and Adelman wanted Novak and Brooks to get some game time.
