Um, yeah, that's an understatement. Can you give your vendetta a freaking rest? It's tiresome. The Rockets, you know, the team this site is devoted to, are finally coming together. Aaron Brooks is stepping up big time. They are coming up on a favorable part of the schedule. Take your obsessive Tracy b****ing elsewhere and go make a voodoo doll, or something.

But IMO for Yao getting 6 assists still is very significant, especially he seems more patient when passing to the cutters and the outside shots were falling today too.

I think everyone pretty much agrees that this was almost a gimme game for Houston, but it could've been a trap game, and with Nate Robinson shooting unconsciously like he was, the Knicks were looking to upset. The big story anyways isn't the win ... the big story is Aaron Brooks starting to really show what he's made of.

Face it, guys. McGrady's drama and drowsiness and possessiveness of the ball rubs off on the team the wrong

The real competitors of the team are starting to show what they're made of. They're not that talented, but guys are buying into the philosophy and are willing to WORK to make it happen.

Something Mike James, Steve Francis, and possibly McGrady could stand to learn

I figure the only reason is Chuck is more efficient on defensive end. Down the stretch, Randolph got too many 2nd chance shots when YAO's focusing on defending Curry. Chuck was supposed to grab more rebounds.

Without a doubt, Books and Scola is smart in this game.
two of top 10 rookies are Roxs. :D

I'm not going to make big conclusions about a home win over the crappy Knicks, but every win without Tracy McGrady is a very good thing. I think they need to trip up his ego a bit... put the pressure on him to conform to the team rather than come in as the savior -- coddled by management and clung to by his teammates.

T-Mac has never had to watch the Rockets win much of anything with him out ... ever.

Loved watching Brooks tonight. He and Rafer were effective on the floor together, but I want to see Brooks getting more experience as the sole PG. No crutches.

Yao still has too many turnovers. His teammates need to shout and let him know when there are defenders coming from the blind side.

This is the very team spirit!
After T-MAC was injured again in the game against Pistons, Rockets totally changed! It seems the ball is always passing , the guys are moving all the time, which is the team play! Each guy can shoot and get points.
I like the game style of Rockets!
    Go for it!
Wish T-MAC' back would not break the style! God......

Tmac's injury is really benifit our team now. We find our spirit. Players got their confidence. and The most important thing is
When Tmac come back he will know how to play with his teammates and trust them.

I still think Tmac should not handle the ball that much, he should run and got the pass from PG and then dunk/allop or jump, that will be much easier for him and our O will more efficient.

    Great win. go Rockets.

AB great, He find his shots now, that's great. He run over the rookie barrier now.

great. great. Now is Novak's turn.

One thing about Brooks I loved in this game other than his otherworldly speed and shooting touch ...

This kid is a very, VERY high IQ player. When he was playing the point, you could see him barking out orders on offense, calling out plays, and then there was his movement without the ball - setting great screens, moving and cutting, executing Adelman's offense to a T.

Brooks is the real deal. So much for all the detractors who claimed he was just another Lucas.

Rockets need rebounding on the court and Scola is not close to Hayes in that category.

Who would have thought that in an offseason that saw us picking up Steve Francis and Mike James, our 26th pick and the guy we got for trading away Spanoulis would make the biggest impact... I love AB, if only he could get his defense up a notch, I see him as a bigger liabilty than Scola by far... by the way (again) why isn`t Scola playing more? He plays great offensively, shows good hustle and appears to doing ok on defense...

I have to wonder if the guy who best fits Adelman's offense might not be Brooks.

Even though its a win against the Knicks , the Rockets have been showing some heart the past few games. A big contrast from the terrible Denver game.

How many rebounds Hayes got in the game? Hayes and Battier are the most overated players on this team.
Scola gets a lot more offensive rebounds than Hayes does.

good win, seems like we didn't panic too much whenever they made their runs, and what can I say about AB...he played great and he deserves to be in the game at the end.

But I think Shane and Chuck played too many minutes...36 each, and bonzi and scola both played less then 20, so what's up what that? They were playing pretty good, especially scola, but we still hung on.

The big reason i think that we started to slip was that we couldn't get a rebound out there. I think we only got 10 or so rebounds the entire second half. I also noticed that a lot of times when they made some runs, Brooks was the one making a 3 or making the shot a lot of times to end our droughts.
