i am more worried about yao at this point, he is taking a beating every night and carrying the heavy load with t-mac and ron out ....

    can yao's body hold up?

i seriously scream in terror everytime i see yao even jumps....the words "stress fracture" just appear in my head everytime i see him using his right foot.... :(

yao's body isn't a worry. he's only played 40+ minutes 3 times this season, averaging 33 minutes. imo he should be doing more because of the team dealing with injuries. and since hes a superstar, he should be able to step it up but i guess thats still work in progess.

Yao should never be allowed to play 40 mins. He should avg 30, bring Deke in. If he steps it up anymore he won't last till the allstar break.

I would like to take this opportunity to give a giant ****-you to the person/people who decided to broadcast weekend games on a local channel, thereby assuring that out-of-towners end up watching a crappy internet feed.

You can't take that guy serious. Any person that calls Luis Scola, Scrubola can't be taken serious when it comes to basketball talk.

DD it was said or atleast they made it seem that way.

Boston announcers said "Earlier it looked like T-mac was going to play but then they said that they would just stick with the plan of not playing on back to back"

Not sure which person decided that T-mac wouldn't play that game but it was said. I can't remember it word for word.

This has trap game written all over it. We struggle against athletic teams that can get up and down the court. I expect a close game.

Who is planning on suiting up for this one? I'm hoping both Ron and Tracy.

If we focus on defense first, we can blowout the Knicks, regardless of who is playing for us.

If we play sloppy defense and just try to outscore the Knicks, we could get blown out.

Be nice to have a little depth at the wing spots today. Any word on Brent Barry?

Tofu was terrible. Soft as usual.

    Airballston is almost always terrible.

The players that contributed most to winning the game were Brooks and Landry; even the +/- bears this out. The starting five: Tofu, Scrubola, TSlack, Von Wafer and Airballston really were bad. That's why the game was close. Happy?

You seem to forget my streak last year. I correctly predicted about 80% of the Rocket's game results (during the slump) for a 15 to 20 game stretch. No one else came close.

Defense is this team's only hope. I mean, have you looked at our shooting percentage lately? It is near the bottom of the league. It is hard to imagine that with supposedly one of the best big men in the league and supposedly on of the best creators in the league.

Will NBA Boradband be airing tonight's game? I hate when they're blacked out. I figure Artest is back, but is Battier truly back for tonight as well?

Look at my join date ock, I wasn't on this board last year. But kudos to you it's still hard to take anyone serious when they clearly have agendas verses players on the team.

you think we lose every game so during a SLUMP, of course you're going to get it right.

how many games did you get right during the 2nd half surge last yr? or the 22 game winning streak?

i haven't seen you predict a win yet. but you admitted yourself you're pessimistic. you and tmac have a lot in common i guess.
