clutch time every call is crucial. After SF missed the layup, they gave the ball to Queens while it was obvious Peja was the last one to touch the ball.

Rox made many mistakes early on, but that doesn't give refs excuses to make BS calls at clutch time.

 

yeah, this game was definitely all steve's fault. screw those 13 assists.

STORY OF THE GAME:

Yao had exactly two FG's (not attempts... but MAKES) in the second half... 2-9!!!...and the majority of the time, he had Chris "one leg" Webber on him.

That is inexcusable. When you have the opponent on the ropes (as Yao did), he needs to just stuff it home every single time. He missed some shots, got tired, got himself taken out of the game... (had the bench brigade bring them back in the game)... then showed improvement in the fourth quarter.

Had Yao not had that lapse where he couldn't make a two foot shot, this game wouldn't have even been close. Sure they sucked it up in the final 2 minutes as well, but that's not when the game was decided.

This game was decided when we gave them new life in the 3rd quarter by not going for the jugular.

C'mon Yao... this stuff won't fly in the playoffs.

 

Does this mean we now have to win 4 of the last 6 games to make the playoffs!!!????????

 

it wasnt steve fault we lost; but he needs to get his jump shot going. Without his jumper we are doomed; he is basically buying his ticket out of here if he cant shoot from outside. Its plain and simple, turnovers is why we lost.

 

We all agree that refs svck but they have to stop complaining and play through it. If they spent less energy crying to the refs and focus on the game, those BS calls would not be an issue.

I remember during the Championship years, the Rox were screwed by the refs many times but they overcame it.

 

Lets see ....

Steve - obviously had some faults at the end

Yao - How many times are you going to lose the ball inside? .. and why the hell are you just going to watch the ball after it gets knocked away from you?

Cat - Where the hell were you in the second half?

Sorry the problems on this team extend far beyond Steve

 

No, the magic number of 4 means they need any combination of wins and losses from the other teams to equal 4 to clinch a playoff berth.

 

Only if all the other teams go undefeated. that is just as unlikely.

 

I am just so mad that all the important calls went against Rox. refs make wrong calls, but all these wrong calls went in favor of fakers or queens. what do you think they are doing? I say they are sucking up the big bosses in the game.

 

We have got to get Kelvin back. Our defense is useless without him.

Man, we really need a real power forward.

6 TO's for Yao. Dude is too clumsy. Any other 'great' players as clumsy as Yao?

I dont understand it. Why in the world SF desicide to run with it. We'd have still needed a 3 pt even if he had made it. Anybody on that King's team is a good free throw shooter.

Three bad plays by SF down the strech. Is this guy really that good as his nick name claims to be!!!

 

the next 5 games are all winnable. @gs, @clips home nugs, @utah, @ seattle

 

Trade Franchise before his value is zero. If he keeps playing like this we might not even be able to give him away!!

 

in yao's defense he dosent usually have 6 to.

 

what's with the refs in this bad stretch the Rox are having?? I don't know, it's just so discouraging to have those kind of calls go against you in the final seconds of the game.
