I think we need to win 2 more times to clinch #7? Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the Lakers have the tiebreaker?

we lead 2-1, but they would if they won by conference record, but after looking- you are actually correct about 2 games needed to clinch even 7.

that puts the pressure on us to win even more. I don't expect LA to lay down after Kobe's injury, but rather, the opposite. they will play inspired basketball in their last two games.

I'm not concerned about eliminating LA anymore, I'm concerned about winning two more games and if we happen to beat LA in the process to clinch #7 and possibly eliminate them, even better...

Haha yeah. Preferably I would prefer to win @ Phoenix and Sacramento, then decide whether we want the 6th seed or the 7th seed in the final game, or even better whether we could eliminate LA from the playoffs, then for a pressure packed final game @ LA that determines who gets the 8th seed against OKC.

to keep the 7th seed we need to win 2 of our last 3 assuming the lakers win tonight against the spurs.

Gotta win, gotta win, gotta win! Need to get everyone back and healthy, and on the same page, before our first round series starts, regardless of who we play. And need to end the season winning, in my humble opinion. Give the young cats some confidence heading into the playoffs.

Yep we should go out here in handle our bizz, that way we could build up some much needed momentum going into the playoff's....Hopefully we are able to upset whoever we play, but you should know that the chances are slim..

Faried is down in Denver and may be seriously injured (knee). No reason not to go all out for the 6 seed...

Houston should just play hard and try to win. They are young, just get the best experience possible.

Faried rolled his ankle, looked pretty bad. I don't enjoy cheering for players' injuries, but the 6th seed has definitely become more attractive now.

The video showed Faried's ankle giving out. Not sure why people are saying it's a knee injury just judging from that video, but who knows?

Nuggets got a lot more appealing though.

You're kidding! I had no idea. He's a huge part of their success, in my opinion. That could be a back breaker for them.

Yes it is an ankle. Should be getting X-rays soon.

If he is done the I would much rather play Denver

Hope the crowd makes some loud noise considering this is the last home stand of the regular season.
