I watched Sportscenter right after the Suns GS game and they mentioned the Pistons 10 game streak.. showed their highlights, then mentioned our 8 game streak and showed a couple of clips from the fourth quarter and Novak's shot.

When did yall watch the game?

They did the 4th qtr collapse again. *sigh*

It won't do them any good if they're in playoffs.

T-Mac, I don't even know what to say about him. I'm a T-Mac fan. Hopefully, he will be around for the playoffs.

    THANK GOD FOR NOVAK! :)

The Rockets record nor the actions of the game tonight support the statement you just made. Sometime I think some of the posters on this board just can't wait to bash someone. I thought Rafer played a very good game (until the 4th). He had 23 points and did push the ball. T-Mac made the game winning pass instead of taking the shot himself ( does not seem selfish to me). What people seem to forget is this is a team game and no one person is going to win a game alone or lose the game alone. If you are not ready to accept that as a fan then you need to be a fan of golf or tennis. I get tired of our fans bashing our players. I know sometimes it can get on your nerves to see someone make a bonehead play, but you can not jump ship on a player (team) everytime they have a bad game. I thought the team put themselves in that situation because they stopped attacking the basket in the 4th. Just look at the difference from the first 3 periods. It was not because T-Mac is selfish or that Rafer sucks. I think they got punched in the mouth by the Kings. They went on the All-Star break after the 3rd, because the had the big lead and expected to coast the rest of the way in. I do have to say I get mad at them from time to time, but its part of being a fan. The hard times are what makes the winning sooo sweet. I love this team, for better or worst. I hated Barkley's guts, but when he put on that Rockets uniform he was a part of the family. Now, I can go back to hating him. I think that we should let management do thier job (because if we could do it better, then we would be doing it).

I was laughing at Tmac not wanting the ball down the stretch last night...I counted at least 3 plays where he shyed away from getting open for a pass from a teammate, and then when he did take it to the basket he wouldn't look to finish.....Artest had him straight up shook last night....on both ends.........................rockets were lucky to escape with a W, because they really didn't deserve it the way they played in the 4th quarter.

Same thing happened on Fox Sports last night (JT the Brick). They even mistakenly put the Rockets in instead of Blazers and said "Mavericaks holy smoke the Rockets". I was like "WTF?!".

u should've known better....seriously speaking, the rockets are in the lower playoff seedings, and they don't have the attractive guys like Kobe, Lebron, etc.......sorry you lost an hour of your life.

All I can say about the 4Q is a take from the wizard of oz:

Scola and Landry and Brooks, OhMy!
Scola and Landry and Brooks, OhMy!

Man, thanks. I was watching the game last night and I know McGrady had a tough time with Artest... the guy gave him fits and simply played a great game, but Tracy did a beautiful job setting Novak up for the winning bucket. Just beautiful.

I was wondering the same thing, it didn't make any sense. Adelman baffles me sometimes, but he is supposed to be the big time winning coach. Go figure.

hmmm. you do realize tmac did set up the game winning shot.
novak didn't elude his defender, tmac drew novak's defender to find a wide open novak.

Well, he does have an impressive win pct%...

If Novak becomes a solid 3 pt specialist in the mold of Steve Kerr/Matt Bullard out of the ordeal then it's all worth it. We basically gain another role player.

Not to nitpick (okay, nitpicking...) McGrady didnt give Novak any love like the other Rockets did? Or he did and it was out of camera view.

Maybe he's demure in everything and its not his "way", and he's happy in the inside. But geez at least some kind of pulse for a young player's defining moment in a big must-win game at home.

I thought opinion was stupid about Battier's game winner against the Lakers on opening night, that McGrady was critical and suspiciously "jealous" instead of being happy (yeah this pile on McGrady movement started the 1st game of the season lol) All I'm saying is...hopefully he was just focused on the next play and realized there was still time on the clock cuz if not...oh well screw studying this guy's actions.

Tmac always draws a double and then makes the pass to the open 3 baller.....you can't trade that.

there was another clip where he drove the lane and kicked out to the left corner for a 3 to win...but I could not find that game.

huh? i don't normally respond to the hair splitting negativity but dang, there are soo many reports of TMac chanting "hero, hero" in Novak's honor ...

    this stuff is getting asinine.
