a win is a win, but I did not like the shot selection in the 4th qtr at all. Maybe they just wanted to make it entertaining for the fans.

lol! Anyway, Steve Novak is a PURE shooter, give him time and he'll be a solid rotation player.

I think we can get by with Rafer, the Rockets need Artest. This team is soft and he will provide toughness.

A win is a win, we'll take it.

An old and long standing problem rears it's ugly head: THE FOURTH QUARTER COLLAPSE! and the also famous, LET DOWN AFTER EVERY LEAD OVER TWO POINTS!

This is both a character and a skill issue. The Rockets let ONE GUY completely dominate them. Not really "we are going far in the playoffs" kind of statement. More like, "if you bump us around like Utah did in last years playoffs, we fold" kind of statement.

Trust me, Rafer is not that good.

But Monta Ellis really is! (36 for Golden State, tonight).
And so is Ron Artest, who maybe was auditioning for a trade.

Where was Bonzi Wells tonight? 0 points? This isn't the first time we've seen strange sudden "off-nights" from him. This guy just doesn't give it every game.

Thank you Hmm and BrooksBall, for having basketball IQ, unlike so many other members on this forum, for not hating or blaming on Steve Novak, but understanding the situation! I know he has no D, but that wasn't needed to win the game. Thank you, this is all I needed to make my night happy as for also having the Rockets victory! 8th place now!

To avoid some of the collapse in the 4th quarter, we could have used an aggressive Bonzi. He is really the only perimeter player we have that consistently looks to drive hard to the basket. Unfortunatley, he couldn't do that for us tonight.

The Rockets could really use a PG that is capable of slashing and getting to the FT line consistently.

we were not making 3-pointers and that drove RA mad. Since Ron was the only player who was making scores, RA decided to let Novak have a try because he would not be our defense liability. In the 4th quarter , Yao is the only palyer making socres and our 3-pointers are sucks down to the hell.

Like what you said, it's a WEIRD finish, but that 3-pointer was what RA was expecting for a long long time. It's lucky we made it. But still I am not happy that Novak was there for 7 minutes without any touch of the ball and Scola was on the bench, who is absolutely gonna be a big help at the offensive end for Yao...

When there are many games going on simulatenously, NBA.com often gets really slow to update scores and stats.

CBS Sportsline is much quicker but has more incorrect stats during the game.

    "yeah boiz, yeah, mother ****ers"

tmac's penetration drew miller, leaving novak alone and tmac made a clutch pass behind is body.....right on the money and novak drained.

Considering how long Novak did nothing for the first 6 minutes or so that he was in the game, it almost looks brilliant that Adelman was so patient and kept him in the game for that last shot. Looks like clutch coaching to me.

Because he said Tmac su*** and now he's not a rocket fan. He's just disappointed in Tmac's play. He wants the Rockets to do good just as much as you do.

    Game notes
Yao had three blocks on Wednesday to bring his career total to 759, moving him past Moses Malone for second most in team history. Hakeem Olajuwon is the team leader with 3,740 in his career.-ESPN.com

Good GOD! That really puts Hakeem's defense in perspective....No one in team history is within 3,000 of him? LOL! That's crazy!

Bonzi winged it tonight...again. I can think of so many games when Bonzi Wells had an effortless night and we lost. People blame Tmac and Rafer for our losses, but how about Bonzi Wells, who imo is the x-factor of this team? I didn't watch the game, but seeing from his 4 shot attempts and only two free throws, I assume that he wasn't aggressive going to the basket...again. He also had a -8 +/-, the worst of team.

It's so strange no one ever blames Bonzi Wells for a loss. But its apparent that if he just did the stuff he's supposed to do i.e. attack the basket and bring that attacking mentality for the game, we would've won and wouldn't have this "does Tmac or Rafer suck more?" debate. At least Rafer and Tmac care about this team...trust me, thats a fact. But on the other hand Bonzi Wells is just lazy..........
