Artest trying to get the ball , but couldn't. So Miller took a 3 pointer...and it didn't go

Why he didn't even bother to block that last shot of Artest???? And he tried to pass when he was right at the basket?

Apparently people forget what Mcgrady is capable of in the clutch after a 2 game span. Pretty sad.

Coach A is emotional when the rockets play against the kings! I don't think some his decisions are logic.

BTW, this is a great moment for Novak, and it may change his career forever!

I hope this erases doubts that we don't need a trade anytime soon...

What a TOF. TMac could be a league MVP if he makes no shoot attempts and sleep walking on the court doing no good defense and offense.

:) i think Tracy played okay tonight, tonight he actually tried to play defense when his offense isn't going, and he was pretty frustrated, it's definitely one of his "off night"...i mean come on, when u see him missed a wide open alley oop, something is very wrong...hopefull the roxs get enough rest in this all star week and prepare for wut's to come after..

yes tmac created the game winning shot but i distinctly remember thinking, during the 4th quarter, "man, theyre justing iso'ing tmac.... pick n roll isnt working and the offense is stagnant... this is what people complain about when tmac gets the ball"

and sure enough... everytime tmac caught the ball... the offense died... at least from what i saw.

but big ups to tmac for the game winning assist... but it shouldnt have come to that.

Every team has off games and off quarters. We just focus on our team's bad performances.

Dallas had a terrible game the other night (all 4 quarters including 3 quarters where they scored under 16 pts) against Detroit and followed that up with a poor game against Philly a few nights later (76 total pts and 10 in the 4th quarter).

The key point is that we won this game despite the meltdown.

i think tmac just doesn't play well if he's not involved period. he tore up artest earlier in the season; he looked like a scrub tonight.

i'm a fan of his but if this is how he's going to play when he's not involved, i'm sorry, but he needs to go.

we only ran about 5-6 TMAC-only plays that were designed for him to score. one in the first where he blew by artest for a layup. then he sucked the entire night. its been proven over and over that he can't be a 2nd option type of guy. he needs his touches.

that's why him and yao never play well together.

it's time for something to be done. we might be winning, but if this tmac appears in the playoffs, its a wrap for us.

tmac can still dominate, but he needs the ball. he can't play in this type of system.

Our 3-pt shooting sucked tonight after 1 qt. T-Mac had a bad game. Yao was Yao.

I could not agree more. TMAC is no where near the play he used to be. There is no way we should have been in this situation with a so called superstar like tmac. You know YAO would be doubled, so TMAC is your best play on the floor. He just vanished, did not drive, kept shooting the silly jump shot. Where is the killer instinct? How do you pay a guy the most on a team who would not take over in the last 5 mins like co superstars (Lebron, Kobe, Manu). This is just unacceptable. TMAC just stands around and watch, plus Battier cannot shut down Martin and switch to Artest, when TMAC is not even trying to be agressive offensively. This is just a shame, no offense and poor defense.

MANU FOR TMAC would be a fair deal if we could get it done.

    TMAC= Another first round Exit

    TRADE HIM NOW

Rafer shouldn't play in the fourth. He does not do a good job of closing out games. Yao was the only thing keeping the Rockets in the game and Alston was totally incapable of getting it to him.

T-Mac didn't really have a terrible game. He exercised great discipline in shooting. A lot of his shots were open and just didn't go down. Tough luck, but at least he didn't shoot too many contested jump shots. He just needs to drive more--a lot of his assists come when he drives and defenses collapse on him.

The Rockets still have a problem with mental toughness.
